WoW!! You had the best party ever I bet! Catherine looked very happy. I love that she asked the birthday boy/ server if he would like the balloons for his birthday. That's super sweet. I am very glad you guys had a good time!!

Welcome home...I can't wait to hear about your trip!! YES!!! I did get the new camera at the end of last week. Got the software loaded over the weekend, and I've been playing around with it!! I LOVE it!

My apologies for leaving you guys hanging all weekend. It got kinda busy with soccer and t-ball, in addition to my early b-day celebration at my parents. I finally got my pics uploaded to the PB yesterday...so here goes...

Saturday, we pulled in the driveway after a very hot afternoon on the baseball field...and the kids were so excited to see that we got TWO BIG GIVE packages!!!!

The first box they opened was from Jen (xanphylus on the DIS!). There were letters for everyone, including a cute note to Carmella from Aleks. Those girls are a lot alike!!! Carmella really loved the personal note!

The girls got the cutest tutus! They just loved them!!

And all kinds of pixie dust for everyone...the balloons were big favorite!

You did a great job picking things out for them! I'm making them put all of it away for the trip, so it will seem like opening it up all over again when they are reminded of everything they have received!!

The second BIG GIVE package was from Jan ...sorry I don't know her DIS name!

She told them to make sure to ride Peter Pan in her note!

Inside, there was a Disney gift card!!! They are ready to go shopping! Also, lots of things to do on the trip...a travel Connect Four (big fave at our house!), a couple of Color Wonder books, a word search book, and scribble slates! They loved it all...but again, mommy has taken it all away to pack for the trip!

Thank you Jan! You picked great things for the kids!! The gift card was SO generous, and all of the travel activities will help to keep them busy on the plane ride!

Glad they liked them!!! It is always fun making tutus! I don't remember if I put it in the note- but Aleks helped on Carmella's. She wanted me to make sure she knew that! The balloons are a big fav here too. Just make sure you tie them very tight- they leak easy. We found that out the hard way. Davy loves them so much, he tries to sit on them and carry them everywhere- and those are some BIG balloons! He can barely walk with them. Its super cute!

Hope they love it all when they get it again on the trip. The tutus look great on them! And John has to be happy- it's Star Wars, how can you not be? P.S. I love Star Wars too!

The Big Give is truly amazing. With the terrible events that happen throughout the world, it's wonderful to know that there are giving and caring people still out there.

I lost my job last summer and I've been searching for a job since...your PTR has inspired me to see if there are any openings at MAW.

I can't wait to read more!

Thanks Ellen! Since your package was the first Big Give we received, you hold a special place in our hearts! My kids have been spoiled by the Big Give, but I intend for it to inspire all of us to find a way to give back.

Yep...the new camera was an unexpected gift last week. I LOVE it, and I'm so excited to have it for the Disney trip!!

Oh, they LOVE the balloons. It was quite the humorous scene when I was blowing up the first one for them...you know how the ears inflate last? Dave thought it was hilarious!! The tutus are just perfect.

Yes! The balloons are crazy- it actually scares me to blow them up! I always think they are going to explode before the ears finally "pop" out. They look funny though without the ears out.... almost freakish even. The first time I blew one up, I thought the ears would never pop out- then the first one popped out, followed by the second and I was so afraid it was going to pop. Aleks thought it was hysterical- until I told her she could blow up her own next time!

All of the Big Give items are amazing. I love the parent's survival kit! What a cute idea.

<----- That's my head spinning with all the discussion of plans around here! I so badly want to "go with the flow" and not stress about the plans, but I also don't want to get caught with no plans and miss out on something! We are not planning on Seaworld, but we have left Saturday open in our schedule as our "what did we miss that we'd really like to do day". Seaworld or US/IOA may happen on this day. Or maybe just hanging out at GKTW and relaxing for our last full day. I'm so nervous that we are over-scheduling and the kids will fall apart, but I also know that my kids can often go all day and really surprise me with their energy level. I guess this is where I need to let go and "go with the flow". Not be afraid to give up plans when the kids need a change of pace.

Our schedule is crazy busy up until our trip! Carmella makes her First Communion this Saturday, so we have family coming in from out of town...thankfully my mom is hosting the party afterwards! I do have to clean for houseguests though!

I've been working on printing some surprises for the kids, like ADR invites, and other small surprises for the plane trip. All of the stuff from the Big Give will really help on the plane, so I'm just putting together some lollipops and other snacky treats for the flight. I really don't want to lug a portable DVD player, so I'm hoping to avoid this.

The time is just ticking away!

I really think you have the right idea...to just go with the flow.

Planning everything helps get the information in your head so that you can change things on the fly and not miss too much.

But once you get there...the trip just takes off! So much to do. Let your kids sort of guide you - you will all have a blast!!

I agree just go with the flo. For our itinerary I have a basic plan like what park we want to be at and one adr. We might do the park maps just to have a general idea but once we get there we will just go by what we feel is right at the time. It will make the trip alot less stressful. But we want to make sure to at least attempt the "for sure's" that Ty wants to do the go from there. Knowing him we will be in the pool alot

Just wanted to wish you guys a great trip! I probably won't be on for a while... we canceled our Disney trip due to financial reasons and a new A/C unit, and I am really upset- so I probably won't be on as much. Makes me think about my no trip. I will occasionally lurk though. And after I get over my little funk- I will be back- so I expect a trip report young lady!!! Again- have a great trip!!!
