Owner's Locker dropped off "Marc's Disney Magic Locker" at the Beach Club today. Did you all sneak off to Disney?

This is the first night this week I've been able to hold my head up past about six o'clock. It feels good to be up with the grown-ups. Hopefully it means I'm on the road to recovery, but I am getting ready to call it a night. It has been a long and exhausting week. Possibly one of the top ten worst weeks of my life, to be honest.

I'm glad you are doing a little better. I can't truly imagine what you must be going through....

Is he going to get a TV show on TLC? He even has the Duggers beat!

Really, seriously CREEPY! I want to know what the stink the idea was behind this picture...there has to be a reason.

Very creepy and no we don't want to know what they were thinking!

I did have fun! Now I will have to add Akershus to the list!

Akershus was pretty good and a great way to get to see all of those princesses!

I love illuminations. It is my favorite of the night shows. The piggy bank game looks neat. I haven't been in innoventions for more than 5 minutes. I think I may add that to my list for my no kids trip in October.

We usually just walk through Innoventions to cool off and do the Visa character meet. It was fun to take some time and enjoy some of what Innoventions has to offer.

A no kids trip sounds like heaven!

Tuesday, June 9

This was to be our day of relaxation, well mostly relaxation, we had a DIS meet scheduled in the afternoon but we were in no hurry to get anywhere early. We spent the morning down at SAB. Baylor wanted to slide and slide and slide! So he did. After our morning at the pool we headed to Magic Kingdom for some lunch at Casey's.

We were meeting ScottsOD and family after lunch. We found them over by the Speedway! We had a great visit with Scott, Jessie and Dylan!

We headed back toward Main Street, it was turning into a real scorcher and we thought the pool was sounding really good. On our way we enjoyed some Main Street entertainment!

Well, here are some Main Street manpris.....

Ok so that wasn't the entertainment but this was! They were "Walking right down the middle of Main Street USA"!

Then we saw the Dapper Dans!

Main Street was really hopping!

We headed out of the park and caught the monorail....
Pool time would wait, it was time for the Visa character meet over at Epcot so we headed in that direction.
There is always a surprise waiting behind the curtain!

Main Street looked like a lot of fun that afternoon and YUMMM, those dogs and corn dogs nuggets looked great!!

I love it when we are standing right around this area watching and listening to all of the entertainment. Life is good when you've got the smells of Main Street Bakery in the air and you're being serenaded by all the folks singing 'We're walking down the middle of Main Street, USA'!

Thanks for nice pictures of Main Street to enjoy on this beautiful Sunday morning. Eight more weeks, and we'll be walking down Main Street USA again!

Love the Main Street pictures. I can smell the popcorn and hear the trombones, ala Music Man. SAB in the morning and lunch on Main Steet sound pretty amazing to me.

Another DIS meet...how much fun is that!!!! Got to love a day where you can just relax and stay by the pool...glad you guys were able to do that!!!

I have to agree with everyone else and say nothing beats Main Street! I have never met the Dapper Dans but I really would love to run into them this fall. Although I have to feel for them...if its a scorcher of a day and the outfits they have to wear...ughh...but hey at least you're working at Disney LOL!!!!!

Love those Main Street pictures! I watched a video on Youtube the other day of a proposal on Main Street. I'm not sure if it was real or staged, but either way it was adorable.

Have y'all started school? How's everything going? I've got to go pull out my school bag and grade papers in a little while!

Speaking of the Dapper Dans....we were watching the Simpson's episode where Homer is part of a barbershop quartet and they credited the Dapper Dans for the singing parts at the end of the episode! Do you think they are the same Dapper Dans? I was very excited when I read saw that.

Great Main Street update! It was hopping!!
This may sound corny but I don't really feel as if I am really at Disney until I walk down Main Street...smell the familiar smells, etc... A lot of times depending on park hours or other circumstances it may be a day or two after I arrive that we go to MK...even though I love all of the parks in different ways----my favorite park is the one that I happen to be in at the moment! I don't really feel that I have "come home" until I see, hear, and smell Main Street!

We were supposed to have a Dole Whip meet that day as well and we missed it! Sorry Jenharring. There is nothing like a day to just relax, and by this point in our trip the days had become very hot!

I saw them for the first time this trip, the first time it was just me standing there and they began singing! I'll bet those costumes do get hot. I guess that's what you get when you work in central Florida. I think it would be so much fun to be a performer at Disney.

We just finished our first full week with students. It was a long week, very hard on everyone. I hope next year we start on a Wednesday or Thursday...
I've been going over some lessons today and need to watch a science video before bed. How many do you have in your class this year?
