Well, it means no DVC for now -- I can't justify saddling us with two new payments. As far as summer goes, there is something brewing that may be a little shocking to you and everyone else that knows me (we may be going somewhere other than Disney next summer). That really hurt to type it. I don't know if I can go somewhere else.

This IS news! Not the DVC bit, cause those resales will always be there....but the No Disney next summer. Do tell...what is the destination you and Charles have been discussing?

Here's a bit of good news.....Maybe only Chelsea will need braces. I got away with only one out of two children needing braces! Then when those braces come off you can have a huge celebration in your DVC villa!

Yep that link should still work. I checked it last night and it worked. The mods finally moved it for me since I started off with it in the wrong place. I have only written up to the pre wedding drama so you haven't missed too much. Hopefully I will be able to get some pictures up today from the rehearsal and then maaaaaybe a wedding preview. The 2 week honeymoon is going to take a looooong time to write.

Well we are off to do married errands (haha thats what I call all this switching insurance and names and mortgage stuff). I will read your report when we get back!

Just a little personal update...
Many of you know that Shocker and I are leaving Saturday (I have no clue what time) to fly to Vegas for a work related conference. I have nothing packed, no lists made, not a single thing planned for our non working hours... I hope I still have plenty of travel size toiletries left from the conference in Arizona last Jan. I am so spoiled by our purple locker that I have a tough time packing to go anywhere besides Disney... I will have another update completed before we leave and will be on here bunches up until probably Friday night when I really need to get packed. Well and if we don't leave too early I imagine that I'll sneak on Saturday too. Besides I'm taking my computer so I hope to be on while we are in Sin City....
I'm not sure if I will be able to do a mini trippie because you know what they say... "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"......

No kids, Baylor is staying with his sister.... we are going with a group of teachers from Shocker's present and my old school along with the principal as well. It really is a fun group of people to travel with!

I just got a call from Megan (dd21 and mommy to Harper). Harper has had diarrhea for two days which I attributed to teething, she was playing and drinking Pedialyte. Now she is throwing everything up and her diapers are dry. I told Megan to call the doctor now. I'm a worried Mimi right now....

Where are you staying in Vegas? I went several years back and stayed at The Mirage and Mandalay Bay. I had taken my then 15 year old niece so we just shopped and ate and melted by the pool. Oh and we did go see the Grand Canyon and spent a day there. The hottest day we were there it was 113 but no where near the Disney heat. This was 4 years ago before I re-discovered my Disney addiction.
How is your Iphone "Shannon" ? Did you get the white? I am sure she will look good in her new VB clothes.

We are staying at the Rivera where the convention is being held. I've heard they have had a major rehab. I think I remember it being a real dump...
I was planning to shop for a new outfit for "Shannon" today but am waiting to hear back from Megan about Harper...

Worries while I'm gone...
When we got home from Disney I got busy out back getting my flowers going for the summer. I have just doted on them terribly and worry about leaving them in this heat. I have a friend come\ing over to water them and use the pool. So I have high hopes.

Most of all I'm worried about this little girl..... I hope she gets better fast!

We got it all booked except our days after the cruise, we have to wait to call DVC until the 8th of July. So right now we are at BCV for 5 nights, cruising for 4 nights, the (hopefully) back to BCV for 2 nights.
The ticker is there, but I can't even think about it yet, I'm going to let Marc worry about this one for a while.
We are in the process of purchasing our flights (for 7 people) for December. It looks like the price has gone up to $400 a piece! We should have booked 2 days ago when it was $350.....

OK as you can see I am still really far behind but... can you tell me how many points you guys have? because we were looking at it and the cruise is so many points and we want to do the cruise for our 5 year anniversary.

Can you explain how your split between the two resorts worked, please? Did you have to find transportation for your luggage between the two? Was it a pain? Was anything affected other than how DDP meals were allocated?

OK as you can see I am still really far behind but... can you tell me how many points you guys have? because we were looking at it and the cruise is so many points and we want to do the cruise for our 5 year anniversary.

We are not using points for the cruise, that is op. We only have 336 points spread between BC and AK. We are however using points for our stay before and after the cruise.

Thanks, they've done very well this year, and I am kicking myself for not getting a Mickey gnome it would have been just perfect.

Hi Carissa!
It's very easy to do a split stay. You just book it that way and bell services will move everything to the new resort. It went smoothly even with the refrigerated food that was left behind. They found it and brought it over and put it in our fridge because we were out!

I never seem to plan for other vacations like I do for disney. But then I've never gone anywhere else that was count down calandar worthy.
