Hello all. I heard from a friend that while she was in Disney three months ago, someone was hit by something that fell from the ceiling of the Rocking Roller Coaster at MGM. Apparantly they hushed up the situation by giving the guest and her family year long passes. Why did this not go public, or is this just a thoughtless rumor??

AFAIK, they don't have to report most injuries to authorities, and if they can get them to accept free tickets and sign a waiver then the company saves hundreds of thousands in legal costs.

Whether the story is true or not I don't know - it seems unlikely however.
