I'm just not sure if this will work out. Any advice?

We're planning to arrive at AK just before 5 p.m. for our reservation at Yak & Yeti. I'd like to try for a FP for FOP from 6 to 7 p.m. so we can finish eating and head right over there.

And then, we planned to do a FP for River of Light--but I now realize the viewing areas are at the opposite end of the park. The park is currently supposed to close at 7 p.m., but the time for ROL is 7:30 p.m.

Do you think this will work? Or is everything far too close together, timewise?

(The people heading to FOP with just be me, my DH and YDS. We can move relatively quickly when we need to. Relatively. ;) )

it is wishful thinking being able to get your perfect time for FOP. That is a lot to fit into a very short time.

I know the odds are iffy. It's the fifth day of our trip, so I'm hopeful, however.

I suppose if we have to, the three of us will skip ROL and let my folks and ODS just do that. :)

If FOP is a priority you nail down a FP for that first, then schedule your trip around it.

I echo what the others said, but I also want to add that you may not want to eat right before FOP...just sayin'
