Awww, i'm so glad you enjoyed my TR! I hope my next trip will be as much of a JOY as this one was. I'm sure it will be. Who knows maybe we'll be there around the same time next year. I cannot wait to see if free dining comes out for 2010 too. I'm really HOPING!!!!! If it does not, we'd go for the quick service plan again. We actually really enjoyed that and would love to do it again, but of course if the free DDP is offered, we'd love to try that too. I'm excited about all of the character lines we will not have to stand in.

Yeah the lines shouldn't be AS bad beings that school will have started, and hopefully there is a break in the weather. When we went in Aug. 2008, we actually did not have hot weather- only because we were stuck in Tropical Storm Fay the whole time we were there!!! However, I just returned from a "girls getaway" in June (dh and ds's mother's day present to me- I went with my good friend from work), and it was so hot that I was convinced that we were on the sun and not the earth those few days! I took a picture of a man's back, and he actually sweated out a Mickey Mouse head (it's too funny!) I actually think I preferred WDW during TS Fay rather than be in the heat- as we were able to walk right on most of the rides. We did get sick of changing clothes, and I had to blow dry our sneakers out every night with the hairdryer!!! But I do think that September will be a great time to go.

As far as the difference between the two DDp's, they both have their advantages/disadvantages. I prefer the QSDP because of the mugs (great great great), the two snack credits, and I hated making ADR's and stopping what I was doing because I had to be somewhere for dinner on time. Also, on the regular DDP, you tend to order the most expensive thing on the menu to make up for what you paid for the DDP, but you have to remember to base your tip on that as well. With the QSDP, you are all set, and may only have to shell out a few bucks here and there for food. However, with the regular DDP, you do have better quality food, and can attend great functions such as character dinings. And beings that it may be free next year, even better!

And finally, I stayed at ASMo in 2008 when we took Austin and he loved it. If you are looking for great character themed rooms-as you may know from staying in the Toy Story building, this is the place to be. I think ASMo has the best hotel character setting in Disney and is great for the little ones (we stayed in the Dalmation Buildings). When I went in June, I wanted to test Pop Century before I came back with my DS and DH. The actual theming and setting is very cute. We stayed in the 50's section with the bowling pins and Lady and the Tramp. The rooms were ok, not as themed as ASMo with themed border/pictures or anything. Everything outside was so bright and colorful and the food court was HUGE compared to ASMo. We may stay at POP next time, I'm not sure yet, it depends on what characters Austin is into at the time.

We are probably going to go toward the middle/end of Sept. sometime- we definitely want to take full advantage of the free dining. And I might plan a surprise at DTD on the hot air balloon ride- not sure yet!!!!

yes, it is exciting, we went to walmart today and bought our folders and notebooks. We need notebooks to record animal prints and facts for our Science curriculum. FUN FUN !!!

Yes, we are having a nice summer and are excited to be getting ready to go camping. I absolutely LOVE it, it sure isn't for everyone though, I have a few friends that will not camp. Our campground is a Resort with RVs, we are going in tents this year but we usually go in an RV rented through the campground. Can't wait to buy my own

I really did enjoy the theming at All Star Movies, we were surrounded all of the time and it was great. The Toy Story building was great. I'm excited to try Pop though too!!
I'm also excited to try the DDP, even though I think if it's not offered free, we'd go with the QSDP. And we really did enjoy the mugs and the 2 snacks a day too. Emily just bought a digital camera, she's been wanting one for a few months now. She had a gift card from her bday and that is what she wanted to spend it on. Well, she is all excited and cannot wait to take pictures at Disney World next year...... Of the Haunted Mansion. She just loved that so much, Manny even downloaded the songs from inside the ride for her, she loves to listen to it.
She had the camera outside last night and was taking pictures of flowers. It has to be returned today because it's acting up though, you have to press the button like 5 or 6 times before a picture takes. So we're off to the store again today. We had plans to go to a lake nearby today but of course, it's raining. No, it's pouring today. So, tomorrow for the lake!!!!!

Your wedding site pictures look very nice. I agree that perhaps the red/white/blue is maybe too themish - but if you like those colors, you could always do versions of them, like cranberry, a navy and then silver accents. But I like the purple idea as well, very nice!

Fantastic July 4th pictures! You guys are such a sweet family. I totally understand your love for camping. When I was a little girl (still am at heart), we used to go camping all the time. After John and I got married, I made him start camping and he fell in love with it. Both of our children like to tent camp as well. As a matter of fact, we went camping Father's Day weekend this year. We have so many wonderful camping memories.

Dallas wants a digital camera too. I just haven't broke down and bought him one yet. That may be one of his Christmas presents. I think we may go to the beach this weekend. I will have to see what Amanda and Tyler are planning. I now Amanda is having a movie party Friday night so she may not feel like getting up early to go. Have fun at the lake.

It was very pretty then, but looking back on it, I'm like, what was I thinking? I think if I had it to do all over again, I would go with tropical/bright colors. I love the purplish and blue color of the blooms of hydrangeas. Those two wild colors go great together- especially for a summer wedding. You could have someone spray roses or carnations tropical purple and blue and mix some other bright flowers such as stargazer lillies or tiger lillies in the arrangement to really set it off depending the colors you choose. Just a friendly suggeston If you know what a Hydrangea flower looks like, I am sure you will understand what I mean, if not, I strongly suggest you look the purple and blue ones up because the colors are just beautiful.

Flower choices to the colors above: hydranges (themselves), bachelor buttons (deep blue), iris (blue or purple), alstromerias (purple, lavender, pink, white, yellow, etc) If you use carnations or mini carnations have them dyed so they look natural not painted -- when they drink the dyed water they will change color naturally(can't do this with all flwrs). tulips, roses, lillies --all come in purple/lavender

Thanks for the color suggestions, I don't know why i'm having such a hard time with colors, I thought that would be easy. Oh well, I have plenty of time to decide!!!

So we returned Emily's camera and went with a completely different one and we are so glad we did, it is very simple to use and works great. She's been taking pictures all day.

Today I requested a bunch of Designs from the Creative Disigns thread. I got some Halloween ones and others. I can't wait to start doing Tshirts again. That was one of my favorite things to do while getting ready for Disney.

I have some silk flowers (roses) in my house; if I think about it some time soon (maybe this evening after the girls go home) the color combinations are beautiful and would be beautiful w/purple, wine, burgundy, gold, champagne...may give you a better idea...

I told John about two years ago that I wanted to renew our vows when we celebrating our 25th anniversary. Well, August 10th is our 25th anniversary and there will be no vow renewal. We will be at Disney though!

I was in the Disney Store the other day, and they have those tote bags (the save the earth type bags) in Mickey & Friends Halloween print for $2.50- I grabbed one for Austin for next year- I thought they would make great trick or treating bags for Halloween this year, or if we decide to do MNSSHP next year. Hello!!! How is everyone's summer going? Our's is going great, i'm sorry I haven't updated anything good lately. Tomorrow i'll try and get some pics up of what we've been doing.

We just have so much going on! We're looking for a new couch this week, it's going to be a sectional! We've been going to the beach, lake and my brother's pool. This weekend is Anthony's 13th birthday and we're going to a carnival!
