A Warning about Disney Crocs with the Jibitz

I'm getting my first pair of Crocs and they are going to be the Disney ones. I know I'm behind on the times. LOL But my DH got a cool phone case last week. It's a little Crocs shoe! I can get my new phone in Oct so I will get one too. You can put Jibbitz in them as well so we already ordered quite a few different ones from the Jibbitz site. That way we can have Disney ones, sports ones, etc. See, I've created a monster....

They didn't stay in my DD's first pair of Disney Crocs, but her newest pair of Disney Mickey head Crocs has much smaller holes, so they stay in fine.

I put this tip on the Tips area, but I'll add it here, too.

Go to Home Depot/Lowe's whatever and buy the plastic washers for just about a dollar. I get the 1 1/4 inch ones, I believe. They work better than anything else I've found. DD6 lost every Jibbitz we bought out of her Disney crocs until I put them in these. Now, she hasn't lost any in over a year.

And yes, I said the Disney crocs!! Big ear holes and everything!


Seriously, why pay for shipping. If you have a hardware store near you, check it out! You may have to look through the drawers to find the right size, but it's so worth it!!!

Are you talking about the Mammoth wooly ones? My DD bought them for me for Christmas last year & I wore them to WDW in January when we hit all the parks. I didn't have to wear socks or anything with them. They kept my feet very warm, but they didn't sweat. I absolutely love them. I've tried the regular crocs, but just can't get into them. My legs didn't hurt at all & the most comfortable part was the hour+ time we stood to see Fantasmic in the very back.

On the other hand I have 3 pairs of the croc flip flops that I wear constantly and 1 pair of the high heels for work. I want to go back & get one more pair of the flip flops before we go back to WDW in September as that's all I ever wear anymore................LOL!!

The croc's website says that jibbitz don't work in any of the disney crocs.

I like the washer idea...I wanted to buy a pair of Disney crocs but b/c of the jibbitz issue got the regular ones.

I have really small feet and wear kid's size crocs. I bought a pair in Disney last September and bought the Jibbitz to go with them. I lost all of them but two. A Mickey head and a Pluto Head survived. They were in the same spot on each foot - top Mickey head hole by my big toe! Actually I just took them out last week to save them for the next Disney trip.

I'm not sure if that was a fluke or if those holes were different.

I just bought two new pairs of crocs, black caymans and black mammoths (the kind with the fur). The ones I bought last year were red - my kid's just HATE when I wear them anywhere but Disney!! Of course, that just makes wearing them all the more fun!!
