Just a reminder to always save your cancellation number.
I cancelled a holiday reservation a 2 months ago and was charged for the stay anyway.
I knew who I had spoken with but she never gave me a #....and......since
I don't have that magic number I don't get a refund. The charged me a no show
fee anyway.
I pleaded and told them I even knew whom I had talked to...all the way to the
manager they all said no.
I even told them I was a DIS member..... ......with 26k friends....that did
little good either.

So be careful........they definately don't put the customers first.

There are laws in this state about things like that. Don't even mess with the hotel. Call your credit card company and dispute the charges. They will give the hotel 30 days to respond to your dispute and then they will refund your money. If you haven't already paid your credit card bill, don't. It's harder to get your money back then it is to simply not pay it. Possesion is 9/10th's of the law and they don't possess your money, if you haven't paid. If you have paid, you can still dispute the charges. Maybe your company will have some sort of fraud protection. You shouldn't have any problem. I will deal with this stuff everyday.

Ugh!!! You poor thing!!! You just had me look all over my computer desk for my cancellation # for the Inn Suites. Hopefully I won't need it but if I do, I'll know where it is at.
