A Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour.

Dh and I are thinking of doing this for our September Anniversary trip since we'll be without our little one.

Does anyone know what time the tour starts?

It's a 3.5 hour tour and it includes lunch so I wasn't sure if lunch was at the beginning or the end.

Did it a few years ago and it was worth the time. Our tour guides were well versed and had a few points that I had to admit I had not heard before.

If I recall we started about 10:30 am and we ended with lunch, ordered at the start of the tour. At that time, we ate in the courtyard of the Disney Gallery. Not sure where they finish now.

Its a wonderful tour. I can't recall the exact start time, since its been a few years since I've done it. Lunch also ended the tour for us in the courtyard at the Disney Gallery. Our guide was wonderful, as was the CM who greeted us at Club 33 and assisted with our lunch. I've actually seen him in DL ads since then! This tour was so good, I've actually considered doing it a second time.

I did this on May 10 for my birthday. They have two tours avaliable. One in the morning an one in the afternoon. We chose the afternoon so I could ride rides in the morning and then tour when the parks were to crowded to wait in lines.

We ordered a sandwich type lunch and it was there when the tour was over. Nothing fancy either! I had turkey and my husband had a tuna sandwich.

The tour was about 3 hours. we didnt sign up and pay until the day of the tour since it was a last minute thing for us. The booth wasnt open at 8am when we entered the park so I went to City hall and paid. I got a discount with my Disney Visa. I think my tour started about 2PM.

We just went yesterday We loved i. The time were 9:30am and 2pm. We rode on the train, pirates, & jungle cruise. Our tour guide was wonderful and fill of information

We went in tiki room to watch the show, then after he asked us to stay seated. Instead of bringing in the next audience he came out with a flower (he had to wear gloves because its 40 years old) and let us ask questions and see it up close.

We was suppose to ride Jungle cruise but we ran short on time so was given fast passes to use on any ride later that day.

We did ride the train from Frontier to toon Town

We had a younger person doing the tour. And we had a lot of fun teasing him but the people in our group knew more trivia than him about Disney. One couple was on their second time for the tour. We did get to hear walts voice on our head sets as he talked about certain areas like Main street and Small world.

DH and I are considering this tour for our September visit. For those that have done it, do you think it would be appropriate for a very bright and curious 10 year old that loves details and knows a few interesting facts about the park already? If you think it would be appropriate for him, do you think he would enjoy it or find it boring? Thanks for any insight!

I'd like to hear more about the tour as well. We will be going in November. I will be taking our DD-8. She LOVES all things Disney so I think she will stay interested. Plus I think she would really get a kick out of seeing the Tiki Room flower and riding the Lily Belle, if we get lucky.
