Mi Mo Land is what my 2 1/2 year old grandson currently calls Disney World. Mi Mo stands for Mickey Mouse. We just returned from taking him on his 2nd trip. We took him for his 1st visit this past January along with his mommy. My husband and I have been to WDW many times sever ince it first opened. We use to live in Miami and would visit yearly until 1998. That's when we moved to NC. We cut our trips down to every other year until this present year. In January we took our DGS (then 1 1/2 ) and DD to WDW for 10 days and stayed at POFQ visiting all the parks and Seaworld, IOA and Universal. This time around iwe stayed for 5 days at the CBR with just the little guy for MNSSHP, MK and AK.

My trip report will not have pictures at this time as I am having some uploading issues with my new camera. :sad2:Hopefully I can add them later.

Carribean Beach Resort
We stayed at the Carribean Beach Resort from September 21-26. We have been here before but not since it was updated. We loved it then and we love it more now although we did have a couple of issues. All in all its a great resort. Check in was a breeze. Our room was a water view in Martinique, ground floor which I requested and got. The room was clean. Housekeeping came daily though no towel animals. On our last night however we came back to unclean room with dirty towels laid on the floor which were not even ours.Ours were still in the bathroom One bed had been partially made and the other not touched. I did call and complain as there was no fresh towels nor face cloth to give my DGS a bath with. Recieved a few sorrys and an hour later fresh towels were brought to our room but DGS had already fallen a sleep. Note this is the first time we have had this happen at any of the WDW resorts.

The CBR grounds are beautiful with lots to do (boating, biking, walking, playing on the little beaches, etc). The new pool is wonderful and DGS really enjoyed the slides as well as the pirate ship children's pool. He could have stayed there for hours and believe me the little guy tried!.

The food court had a lot of choices but with long wait times. The lines were short but most counters were very slow. The gift shop had a lot to offer and was well stocked.

Blizzard Beach
Our first time to this waterpark and DGS 1st trip to a waterpark. He's sold!! We went on Tuesday and it was crowded but manageable. The children's pool area is really really nice and DGS loved the mini versions of the sildes as well as waterfall and fountains. We all enjoyed the lazy river as well. We took the skylift to the family raft ride. Nice view. DGS loved the family raft ride as well as one of the other big slides that the life guard let him go down. I was a bit scared for him to go down a big slide alone but he did just fine. Lunch lines were long everywhere but we managed. In fact our only problem was getting DGS to leave when it was time to go. :rotfl2:

MNSSHP
We had tickets for the Tuesday night party. We arrived at 6:30 pm. The music had begun and the fog was flowing. It was very nice and spooky. Some guests had very nice costuimes on or matching T shirts. We did the T shirts as it was quite hot and humid. No rain however. It was very crowded.but no real hold ups. We did the Haunted House which DGS was not so sure of but loved the ride part of it. He still talks about it. The parade was great!! The fireworks were nice especially the ending. DGS loved the dance party as he got to dance with Pluto. At the treat stations they handed out handfuls of candy. Anything from mini Hershey bars, raisins, M & M''s to lollopops. We also rode Space Rangers. DGS got to meet Buzz Lightyear, one of his favorites. All in all it was a good night. Would recommend going to this party at least once. We plan on taking DGS back in a couple of years but probably we will go in October when its a bit cooler.

Animal Kingdom
We went to this park on Wednesday. TGM said it would be a good day. No rain but HOT!! It was crowded but things were moving pretty well. We went on the safari ride first thing after breakfast at Tusker House and a lot of the animals were out and about. In January they were all hiding so this was a nice treat. We had real close up encounters with giraffes and elephants which DGS loved!! The parade was very nice. We also enjoyed the animal trails, petting zoo area, dinoland and the train ride. We saw the Lion King show for the first time and it was just wonderful. Highly recommended it. DGS loved this park as he is into animals so it was right up his alley.

Magic Kingdom
We hit this park on Thursday. TGM said not to go on this day and boy was he right. However it was the only day that offered the parade and fireworks before we had to leave so we had NO choice. It was crowded!! Ride tinmes before 11 am were great 10 minutes or less. By 1 pm they were 30-40 minutes and by 3 pm there were 45-1 hr. :scared1:We missed PeterPan, Dumbo, Snow White and Aladdin's Magic Carpet because the ride times were too long. Another thing it was HOT HOT HOt. Definitely the hottest day we have had so far. The afternoon parade was very nice but a word of warning . If you are watching from the sidelines on the dies of the street near Splash Mountain on a hot day, there is no shade!!! DGS nearly melted from the heat but unfortuantely there was no where else to go. Immeidiately after the parade he fell asleep for nearly 2 hours while DH and I sat in the shade. The evening parade was wonderful as always and the fireworks were spectacular!! Despite the heat and crowd, DGS enjoyed MK very, very much. :yay:

Extra Notes:
The CM everywhere were wonderful, helpful and friendly.
The monorails ran well and the only wait we had was after MK let out.
The character interaction was great.

Our Dining Choices::
We had the Deluxe Dining Plan which is what we usually get. I won't cover counter meals as they were all good and service was fast.

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridain ADR 7:20 pm
Looooong wait. didn't get seated until 8:40 pm DH was not happy. We saw Cinderella as well as the prince, step mother and step sisters. DGS walked away with 3 smooch marks on his face. It was so cute! He loved it!! The charaters were great. The buffet was very good with a nice selection throughout.

Cape May at the Beach Club ADR 9 am
We were seated within 10 minutes. Good buffet. We had to wait extra for Goofy to come around because he kept missing us but finally the waiter brought him over.

Tusker House at the Animal Kingdom ADR 8:35 am
Didn't get seated untl 9:15. The buffet was really good with nice slections. The characters seemed a bit confused as to where they were supposed to bbut eventually we saw them all.

The Rainforest Cafe at animal Kingdom ADR 5 pm
We were seated within 5 minutes. I had the coconut shrimp and it was VERY good. We were seated right in front of the fish aquarium which DGS loved! He also loved the jungle nioises, etc Before dessert though the little guy fell asleep in my arms.

Ohana's at the Polynesian ADR 8:50 am
Was seated within 20 minutes. The characters were great. DGS loved Lilo and Stitch. The children's parade around the dining area was a nice touch. The food was served family style and was very good especially the bread and juice.

The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom ADR 4:45 pm
We were not seated until 5:20 pm. Our waitress was very slow. Our worse this trip. The characters Pooh, tigger, etc were great and DGS had a lot of fun with them. Unfortuanately seated near us was a VERY loud and noisey wedding party group who taunted the characters to the point the manager had to say something to them. This group was also extremely rude at the buffet, butting people, banging utensils loudly, tossing rolls to one another, etc.

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary ADR 9:30 am
Wasn't seated until 10:50 am. DH was not a happy camper. This was the longest we have ever waited at Chef Mickey's. The buffet was very good. The characters were great and spent some extra minutes with DGS when we told thm we were leaving for home today. It was very nice and DGS enjoyed it!

All in all it was a wonderful and delightful trip. DGS enjoyed every second and can't wait to come back. We loved spending time with him in Mi Mo Land. We plan to return with him and his mommy in late November 2010. Can't wait!!
