A villainous voyage - Pin cruisers docs 11/14 Wonder

Well just last week DW and I both received our docs from DCL indicating we were confirmed on the "Villainous Voyage" on the 11/14 sailing of the Wonder. They provided some links to preview the pins that would be on sale and while I'm not really interested in pin "trading" the frames that they have available look really really nice.

Anyone else going on this interested in purchasing? If so, what do you have your eye on?

Why do some people get their docs so far in advance? We don't even have ours for our October sailing. Why are people getting them for November? I think last time ours only came 10 days out. And this time we are traveling a week prior. I would hope Disney would take vacation times into consideration. But does it really matter if you get your docs? Can't you just show up and get some at the port? Just curious.

***PIN*** documents -- NOT cruise documents! These are for PIN PURCHASES and whatnot ONLY for the Nov 14 sailing of the Wonder.

We won't get the actual cruise docs until around Nov 1st for our Nov 14th sailing .... but the pin RSP "random selection process" forms showed up last week (for the pin event that will be taking place on the cruise), along with a brochure outlining the available excursions. Now, the pin event is only for those guests that paid the extra $35 per person to attend the event ... so not all Nov 14th cruisers will be getting this info in the mail either.

I'd already booked my excursions, and will probably submit our RSP forms for the pins by Oct 4th or 5th.

So what ones are you looking at Susan? I love the box sets and the framed ones towards the end of the catalog.

Only the Maleficent's and Evil Queen for me. However, my S.O. is interested in almost everything....of course he collects Hook, Jafar, Hades and Ursula Oh and Chernabog. HOW could I have forgotten Chernabog

DH is the villain collector in this family but he has his eye on one of the framed sets. Other than that he's after several of the individual pins, like the Chernabog pins (his favorite villain) and Maleficent.

I don't normally collect villains, but "have" to get the Hades no smoking pin.
