Saturday morning broke sunny and clear (damn weathermen) but with the afternoon still predicted to storm, so we decided to put off Typhoon and go to MGM Studios for the Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster.
TOT and I have a love/hate relationship .I am compelled to go on it, but scared to death each time. We got a Fast Pass for RRC and by the time we were done with TOT, it was time to go on. I had never been on RRC before ( never had anyone to go with ). I wasnt convinced that Kate should go on it, so Rick and I did the rider pass off. I went with DSS and DH stayed with DD, then DH and DSS went.
Afterward, we rode Star Tours which is a fun ride then headed to Sci-Fi Drive in theater for lunch. I had the Reuben which I love. DSS (Nick) and DH (Rick) really enjoyed the movies ( Kate and I have been to this SEVERAL times and she now can quote the I hate people cat.
When lunch was over, we headed back to the hotel for some swim time since it was bright sun and hot ( damn weathermen!!). I never get to swim much in the Wilderness Lodge pool because my annual February trips are just too cold, so we really enjoyed the pool time. Kate entered the duck races and QUACKED her head off, but silly duck didnt make it! After I went down the slide, I noticed that my diamond earring was gone now, I wasnt in a HUGE panic, but I was sure it was gone. As a lark I told Nick to go see if he could find it do you believe that kid found it!!! WOW!! I was so happy!!!! I couldnt believe he found it cause the pool was pretty crowded! We returned to our room to find that our Lodgekeeper had left us a Big Alligator Towel Animal
So..after that excitement, we dressed and headed to Epcot for dinner in Japan. Nick is into Japanese BIG TIME so this dinner was great..Teppanyaki was really fun and the food was great!
As we headed out of Epcot the skies once again let loose and we got alittle wet. Thankfully, our bus came right away and we didnt have to stand in the rain.
Got back to the WL and settled in for the night we were exhausted and wanted to get rested up for Sunday.
Up Next . A Typhoon of a Sunday
