Yes, I did not forget about this and thanks for those who still want to read along, I will try to finish this before the year is over
Now for those who waited patiently...
Ahh, no rain, bright sunny, HOT skies for today. Today we were off to Epcot, my favorite park. We arrived at International Gateway in time for rope drop. As the rope dropped we headed off for Soarin. We quickly got on (after requesting top row as this was Kelly’s first time on Soarin). Unlike Murph, who wasn’t impressed, Kelly was.
Next we headed over to Nemo.
I don’t know what was wrong with me , but at one point I was so startled I screamed

. Next thing I knew the baby in the shell next to us started crying. Oops.
We spent some time exploring The living Seas before heading out to SSE. On the way I spotted a couple of TFW lanyards, OMG TE and Waldo, Tracy’s parents. We stopped to hug and chat for a few as they were heading to Sunshine Seasons for coffee. TE had let me know that Tracy was in Character Connection. I asked Kelly if she wanted to get some pics and was all for it. Well, until she saw the line. So we popped into to say hi to T and then were on our way.
After SSE we went to Mars, I decided to go with the green side and I think Kelly was a bit peeved. I was still a bit gun shy after HM on the first day.
It was soon time for our 11:30 GG ADR. Believe it or not I had never eaten here and was looking forward to it. We headed back to the Land and checked in a few minutes early. After a short wait our buzzer thingy went off and we were shown our table. Now thanks to the Dis I did know there were 2 levels and I figured since I scored this ADR late in the game we would be on the upper level.
NOPE
SCORE, lower level.
We settled into our booth and soon our waitress was there taking our drink orders.
Soon the characters started coming around. Oh boy did they.
Kelly and I were getting the cameras ready, I was getting her camera out of the back pack so my back was slightly turned to her. As I turned around there was this big hairy thing coming over her shoulder.
I screamed.
Silver ware flew.
Mass chaos ensued.
And when the silverware landed and calm was restored, Chip laid on the floor.
Not moving
Not a muscle.
OMG, I killed Chip.
Yep, I’m a Chip killer.
He just laid there, flat on his back, in front of us, not moving.
At first.
Then there was some movement.
So I apologized
And called him Dale.
Oops
He recovered to take a pic with Kelly and sign her autograph book.
Where he took the opportunity to trash talk me.
Yes I was trashed talked by a chipmunk.
How embarrassing.
I mean really who else goes to happiest place on earth to have a chipmunk trash talk them.
It’s almost as embarrassing as getting bit on the butt by a duck.
Some other lunch pics
After lunch Kelly wanted to go swimming so we headed back to BCV to change (BTW still referring to me as the Chip Killer, made me sound like one of those stories you see on Dateline or 48 hours, KWIM). I thought we were heading to SAB, no she thought it was too crowded the day before so we went to the DVC quiet pool and had a very relaxing afternoon.
Around dinnertime we headed to Beaches and Cream. There were no tables available, so we sat at the counter as there was plenty of room.
Now while I still enjoyed my cheeseburger, I think they have lost a little of their magic.
We headed over to Epcot to explore WS and to try and by Glue wien at Germany for Murph.
Unfortunately they don’t sell it this time of year(not surprised since it is a wine you drink when slightly warned up)
The clouds didn’t look to friendly, or as Kelly said, they looked angry. We decided to head back to BC before we got soaked. We stopped at B&C for some yumminess on the way back to the room first to call it the night.
