What a pleasant surprise I had last week down at WDW.
I ran into neighbor Debbie (EpcotKilterFan) and Mom early in the week at Epcot who mysteriously says "Ooo! I have something for you. Maybe. I've got to check. I might have it for you" and won't say another thing about what she has for me. Strange, I think!
Then I happen to run into her again at DTD pin trading (I think Wednesday night -- not sure...the days tend to run into one another
) and she produces, with the help of my other pin fairy, Nat, who also happened to be down at DTD that night, the very large 15th Anniv. Coca Cola pin -- a pin that my very patient DH really liked and that I had traded away last trip (reference the thread on 'trades I shouldn't have made')...
For the first time in a very long time, I was speechless!!! Okay, so it didn't last long, but for a few seconds I was! I showed my DH who was very happy to see the pin he thought he'd never see again.
It seems that Nat has had the pin for a while, and reading my post about trading that pin away when I shouldn't have, decided to send it my way. Debbie helped in that she knew how to get it to me. Running into one another down at the World just made everything so magical!
It made my day so very special (it had started out very badly...but that is another story), and I know my DH Tom was very grateful as well.
So, to my two very special Pin Fairies, THANK YOU.
Who says that magic doesn't exist??????
Thanks.
