A very special Fairy Godmother encounter

Such a sad story and yet Disney provided that poor Mother a magical healing moment. It just reminds me what a special place Disney is to so many families!

And what's funny is that it was reported just as Disney was announcing that they were cutting Fairy Godmother. It was all over the news in Orlando.

Knowing that made me cry even harder when reading the story. The loss of a face character who seemed to have a special way of "reading" guests.

Sad when a cast member/character who truly connects with people is lost. What was the reason behind the cut? Lack of popularity? the ability to put a more recognizable (read profitable) character in her place? Truly sad!!
