Anyway...

1) praying for you guys today, well everyday, but today a bit more than usual

2) the schedule looks great! Legoland or GF... it's a tough call!

3) if for some reason you guys do have to postponed, LMK. I'm willing to get some postcards signed and sent for you guys when I'm there.

Thank you so much for the prayers DH is really trying to go all out on this trip. The more I talk to him about it the more he's getting into it. I think the anti-Disney is having a change of heart about Disney. Can I bring him over to the light side? lol.

If we do have to post pone I will post here and that would be awesome if you would do that for us!

That's great news hun!

Hopefully they can get her in quickly so they have time to fully review the "films" from the MRI.

Are there any regular things that have happened before she gets her headaches or do they think it's all related to her disorder?

The awesome thing is that we get her MRI's done at the same hospital that her doctor works at. So she has her MRI in the morning he will have them by noon of that day! So it helps save us time & money (gas/food/ect) since we only need to drive up there for one day.

They think her headaches could be from her disorder esp with how bad they get. But they haven't been constantly bad. Some times she has a "baby" headache and other times she has a killer headache.

You may turn him this trip. My DH likes the place, but what gets him is how happy it makes the kids when we're there.

I'm serious about getting the postcards, and I'll do one for each of the kids if you'd like. Just let me know who to find and I'll seek them out!

So the February 2012 calendar is out! If we have to post pone our trip we will go

February 3ird through the 13th

Now that's if we keep our plans like we have them (Universal 2 days, Disney for 5, 1 down day and 2 "travel" days. We may cut a travel day out. Not sure yet. But I am going to plan as if we are keeping our current plans just changing the month we go.

A Disney Birthday!

So this trip was planned with the idea of going for our sons birthday since we went for our DD1s birthday this year. Our (current) departure day is DS's birthday but we still want to make this trip really special for him. So on the 11th DH is going to take DS to DTD (on the boat since DS keeps talking about Disney boats) while the girls and I decorate the room, bake cupcakes (hoping to have the cupcakes in oven before they leave) and wrap any presents we bought while on vacation.

Then when DH and DS get back we can celebrate his birthday! I found this really cute picture of a Minnie Mouse cupcake but I think I can easily use the idea to make Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Daisy for him.

So if your at Old Key West on December 11th and some lady is handing out cupcakes because her kids didn't eat them all - its okay its not some loon its just me. lol.

FEBRUARY PLANS

8th - Check In
-- Recommended Parks - MK, EP

9th - Hollywood Studios

10th - Magic Kingdom

11th - Epcot

12th - Rest day. Let kids pick what they want to do.

13th - Epcot

14th - Magic Kingdom

15th - Check Out.

This will most likely change. I'm using easywdw to help me plan what parks on what days and there are a few days I'm not sure about. We want to do two days at MK and EP but I had to puzzle them into our plans. With our December plans they easily fit for the most recommended park for the days. With this plans they are the 2nd or 3ird recommended park.. So this may (will) get tweaked again.

Also 1 bedroom at Old Key West is $3,426 (reg) $2055.60 (40% off)

So Rachel got really sick and spent three days in the hospital. She may end up going back tomorrow because we can't get her to eat or drink anything.

Her MRI got moved from the 1st to the 29th because she can't be sick at all up to two weeks out from her appointment.

Having migraines I can understand some of the pain your dd must be going through... But to be her age and not able to fully communicate the pain or having the ability to know what to do for her has to be awful!

So sorry about the hospital visit!

So sorry its been so long. Rachel had this stomach flu and it royally kicked her butt. She ended up back in the hospital for another two days. She's home now and feeling better but still not 100% back to normal. Now I'm starting to feel like I'm getting it.

Six months ago my husband put in his application for a TSA job and he heard back on Monday that they want him to take a written test. So he went and did it today. If he gets this job then it means our trip is back on with full force. Not to mention we will be adding one more day at Universal, 1 day at Sea World, 1 more hotel/rest day and 2 Disney park days! Another whole 5 days! So we have our fingers crossed.

Oh did I also mention that the job is for a TSA at the ORLANDO airport? So if he gets it we will be moving to Orlando!!!!

Pack up everything we won't need for the night into the van to move hotels tomorrow.

Monday 12/12 - Troys 4th birthday
Park - whatever park Troy wants to go to
Hours - ?
ADR: Chef Mickeys at 7am

Eat, then check out of hotel & check into new one - Caribbean Beach for their Pirate room! This will be a complete birthday surprise.

Tuesday 12/13 - Magic Kingdom
Hours: 9am to 7pm
ADR - None. OOP today.

Wednesday 12/14 -
- pack up and head home.

So what changed?

12/6 - went from MK to HS. My DH really wanted to do two days there and we looked at what days we could change and 12/6 it was recommended. We also get to try Mama Melrose so we're excited about that.

12/11- cancelled a ADR

12/12 - we switch hotels from Old Key West to Caribbean Beach as a birthday surprise for Troy. We will spend two nights in the pirate rooms. Added a ADR. Will do whatever Troy wants to do today

12/13 - going to MK today because it was recommended + it allowed us to add another HS day.

12/14 - new departure day

When my dh said lets add some nights in the pirate room I totally thought about you! It would be so awesome to meet. Rachel is feeling much better. She's still having random feelings of nausea but her doctor prescribed her something for her to take and its been a life saver.

How is Rachel? Did dh get the job in Orlando?

We don't know yet. He called yesterday and they said they are still waiting for some of the other people to take the test. They have until August 31st..(They were suppose to take the test by August 15th...) The lady said that he should get an answer no sooner then September 15th and no later then September 30th. We figure its the government he'll get an answer in October. lol.

Soo thanks to a friends PTR for tipping me off but F! was added to every night (expect the 8th) to HS.. I wonder how this will affect us on the 5th & 6th? Hopefully it won't make too much of a difference. I'm going to wait for easywdw.com and see what they think.. lol since I've planned our whole trip off of the site. We have two days planned there and I know that DH wants to see the lights one night...

So I'm a neat freak.

- Hanging sweater organizer for closet and cubes to go into it. Got this for $5 and $2 per cube at the dollar store. The kids each get a cube to store toys in (all toys must be picked up before we leave and before bed), 1 cube for little kid shoes (although I think I'm going to just put a bin next to the door for this trip) and 1 cube for DH & I to store - cell phone chargers, camera charger, keys, wallet, ect when we don't need them. We find we don't lose or forget items when we leave if we put them back into the cubes as soon as we're done with them.

- Beach towels for the kids to bring to the pool. Every time we went to the pool at POP someone took our towels. So this time we're bringing blue ones. Hopefully no one walks off with them.

- Pop up hamper for dirty clothes

How funny...I was looking at my packing list today too! I am going to get one of those shoe organizers for the back ot the bathroom door to put all the bathroom stuff in...with 5 people in one bathroom space is limited. I am happy though at BWV the shower/kamode are separate from the tub in another room. I sure hope I get to enjoy that tube 1 night.

I found some great beach towels on clearance at Walmart this weekend. Had to snag them up! I plan on giving them as one my secret advent countdown gifts!

I like the idea of the sweater bag...maybe I will do this and put the kids clothes for each day into one at the 2 different resorts so we can grab and go in the morning.

Don't forget to add POWER STRIP BAR to your list. With all the things that have to be plugged in....sometimes it is hard to find outlets and with your little ones you can be more selective in where the outlet goes!
