Welcome back :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Can't wait to hear all about it :thumbsup2 I was following you on Twitter, looks like you got to see loads of stuff :goodvibes

Welcome back! No pressure or anything...but, where's ma update?! (JK - take your time, upload all your photos --and the ones I sent ya, pet the cat, etc). I can't WAIT to hear all about your adventures at WDW ('cause we're still doing that one, yes?) AND Tokyo!

Hi Carrie,

I just recently joined the boards (ok, the truth is I lurked for quite a while before making myself admit to my own obsession and join the party!!) and have really enjoyed reading your reports. What I am most impressed with is how your passion for Disney seems to be evolving from vacation and fun to a career in writing. It has certainly inspired me to step out of the box of convention and actually pursue my dream of being part of something creative. I have a postgraduate education but think I chose I career that I like but not sure I love. I am convinced that what I have already learnt can be merged with something fun and creative (and hopefully Disney based). Now to just figure out how to start or rather take that first step !!!

Will openly follow along (rather than just lurk) and look forward to your next installment.

Welcome Back Carrie! I hope you and Patrick had a wonderful time and can't wait to read all the details! Love the sneak peak of the new show. :thumbsup2

Welcome Home!!

I can't wait to hear (and see!) all about your fantastic trip!!

I followed along as best I could while you were away, but can't wait for the TR! ;)

Thanks for your patience, everyone! I worked up a mini trip report about my tour of the Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings facilities in Tokyo that may tide you over til I can get back to this report and start my Tokyo one. This is the official report of the tour - I'll put the behind-the-scenes info in my Tokyo trip report (and believe me, hilarity ensued!).

How's the jet lag?:goodvibes

Non-existent! We had none going out there because you basically get on the plane in the morning and get off in the evening and then go to bed (you've just jumped forward a day). I thought it would be bad coming back, when we left around 6pm and arrived around 11am the same day, but we managed to stay up til our regular bedtime and then awake the next day feeling fine!

Welcome back! No pressure or anything...but, where's ma update?!

Pipe down, missy! You got an in-person Tokyo trippie on Sunday! :lmao:

Welcome out of lurkdom! :wave2:

I'm so happy to hear you are pursuing your dream now — it took me several years of listening to DH wonder why everyone didn't follow their passion the way he did before I began to feel I could do it too. Of course it helps that his passion pays our bills! :rotfl: I love the idea that you will be able to merge what you've studied with something new, too. Best of luck! :thumbsup2

So excited for the continuation of your trip report and the new adventures in Tokyo! I have a feeling this is going to be good!

Carrie thank you for that in detail report on the Tokyo Wedding facilities! That was really cool to see.

Now get going on this one an the Tokyo one :)

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I loved the Wedding sneak peak you did, wonder if I can convince DH we should get our vows renewed there? I assume you can get married again? Just tell them it's coincidence you have the same last name  Any ideas if DLRP will start doing this? That would be fun too :cool1:

Hi Becx!

DLRP doesn't offer weddings, unfortunately. I think it's because there's something like a 40-day residency requirement before you can get married in France... :sad2:

Well, my journal is pretty sketchy on what happened after lunch at the Plaza – it’s basically just a list of rides and attractions. Thank gawd we had two fabulous photographers with us to document this thrilling chapter of our lives:

It appears we dragged the Roots to Swiss Family Treehouse. It’s Patrick’s favorite ride and we not-so-secretly wanted some amazing photos of it. But first we had to mess up a couple with our mugs!
