Hey guys!

Nice to see you on here again Laura!

Glad you were able to get out for your run Jessica!

And Paula I loved the LM update. Looks like such a cute ride. So looking forward to it when we go next month. I am also looking forward to Star Tours. I loved it back in 1996, even not being a huge Star Wars fan. I don't tend to get motion sickness though. Only on really spiny rides.

Anyways, I need to come on here and "get away" for a few moments. Today has been a really, REALLY rough day. Sigh. Seth has been a pretty unhappy little guy since last night. I think he is a little constipated (sorry if that's TMI, lol), and he just seems really uncomfortable. Tonight we are trying a new formula (same brand though) that is supposed to help with gas and stuff, so I am really hoping it helps him. For both him and our sanity.

On top of the lack of sleep, I am really stressed out about our dogs. Actually over the last year or so, I have been slowly growing a real disliking to them and I don't know why. Well there's lots of reasons I can think of, but they are things all dogs do. I guess I am just slowly realizing that I am not a dog person. I really don't know what to do about it. I would feel horrible for giving them up, but at the same time they cause me soooo much stress! It's to the point where Dillon and I are fighting about them all the time. I don't want them, he does. It's really starting to get between us. Sigh. I resent him for wanting to keep them around, he would resent me for giving them up. It's a lose, lose situation. :sad1:

Sorry, I just had to vent. I think it's mostly lack of sleep that's got me so down. And a constant crying baby sure takes a toll.

Andrea... I'm sorry your little guy is not happy. Hopefully the new formula helps. What kind of dogs do you have? I am a small dog person. Not real fond of big dogs!

We have a Jack Russell Terrier (big dog in a little body), and a Chihuahua. Both are really friendly, but soooo much energy. Especially the JRT. I read all about them and that they were high energy dogs, but reading about them and actually dealing with them are two totally different things I am realizing. And they both just like to bark at every sound outside. In the summer there are a lot of sounds outside, lol. They are cute, I am just really finding that they aren't for me.

Ok I'm trying to post from the treadmill so we will see how this goes...
Andrea sorry you had a rough day. I hope Seth starts to feel better really soon, so that way you'll feel better too :)
I can understand the whole dog situation. That's a tough one. Hopefully it all gets worked out though. What is it that they do that frustrates you be most? Are they just too rambunctious?
And feel free to vent here anytime! It's good to get it off your chest.

You kinda just answered one of my questions in your reply to Paula. I'm not to fast on my iPhone haha.

Our dogs are pretty calm... The youngest two play together for part of the day and all are pretty much lap dogs the rest of the day. They bark at the dog next door but not at any strange sounds or cars driving by or anything. I love all 3 of them. But then I don't have a baby who deserves all the attention either

I feel so bad saying that I don't like them. And it's not that I don't, it's just that I get so stressed by them that I feel like I don't. I am sure if it came down to it, I wouldn't be able to give them up. But I really need to learn to not get so stressed at them.

Mya, the Chihuahua is a lap dog, but I haven't really been providing her with a lap since I got pregnant, cause I didn't want her to get jealous when the baby came. And Toby wishes he was a lap dog, lol. Always trying to get up on the couch. And they bark every time a big truck goes by. Or when someone closes their car door. Or front door, lol. It's never ending! It's all typical dog stuff. I just gotta learn to suck it up I guess!

Haha thanks. I am on my laptop now :)
I only have one dog, but he is a handful. We have taken him to a couple obedience classes at PetSmart and he did really well! He is much better now than he used to be, but it does get frustrating. And he is so super calm when it's just us at home, but right when visitors come over he goes nuts! He also gets really nervous when we are not at home or a familiar place, and that sometimes turns into aggression. :sad2:

Thanks Jillian! Venting sure does help. :) And that's awesome that you can post from the treadmill, lol.

Our dogs are allowed up on the furniture... always have been... the largest one is 13.5lbs though...

Sassy. Our oldest sleeps in the bed with us. Abby, she was a stray sleeps in her bed on the floor most of the time. Sometimes hubby lets her sleep on the bed when I am not there...

Sammy is my MIL dog so she gets to do whatever my MIL lets her :rotfl2: She spends a good part of the day with us though as Abby is her playmate.

I think my biggest resentment is towards Toby, our Jack Russell, because he marked on everything when he was a puppy. And a lot of it was my stuff. I have this huge Mickey Mouse that I got years ago, and he marked on his foot several times and I basically thought he was ruined. I told Dillon to throw him out (as I didn't have the heart to do it myself!). I thought he had, but he surprised me that Christmas by giving me a brand new looking Mickey! I didn't know they could be dry cleaned!!! Anyways, one day when we went out for a few hours, Toby got mad and peed on him again. :sad2: I still have him, but he needs to be cleaned again, and it's not cheap.

Notice ours are all females? My MIL had a male that marked everything! We won't get any more males.

I guess I got lucky with my dog, he doesn't mark anything inside the house. But he marks just about everything outside!
I do remember one time, we were watching my friends kittens for a few hours so they were in a room with the door shut, and my dog wanted in there so badly and we would not let him. So he looked at me right in the eyes and proceeded to pee in my room. I was SO mad!!! They really know how to get you.

Smart thinking! Don't know why we thought it wouldn't happen with us! Lol. For the most part he has gotten over it. Until he's mad at us, then he goes and does it somewhere. We have resorted to buying a baby gate and closing them in the kitchen when we aren't home, just because every day we would come home to some mess somewhere. Whether it was something chewed or peed on. Now that I am home, they don't make as bad of a mess, but sometimes they still manage to get at something!

There is a HUGE storm going on right now. Constant lightening and thunder! Kind of cool to watch, but no hopes of going to bed while this is going on, lol.
