I had a quick question...so I accidentally dropped a pair of sunglasses and they got scratched on the cement. I was looking online for ways to repair the scratch. Came across a few, one was pine sol. Anyone ever tried that, or heard of anything that will work to remove scratches? I was thinking to just take it down to like that Sunglasses Hut, or whatever that store is called, and ask them. But if I can do it on my own I figured why not!

Thank you. I have him kind of high on Nyquil, yes I asked the Dr first. Loren is allergic to codeine so he can't have the cough medicine with it. Loren is a big 14 year old guy so the Dr said Nyquil would be fine.


I once heard peanut butter got scratches out. I think I might rather try Pine sol though.

I found a web site that lets your order replacement parts, and since these are pretty expensive sunglasses (got them as a gift), I wouldn't wanna just toss them and get news ones. I think I would feel better taking them to a store where, hopefully, the employees know a thing or two about scratched lenses. With my luck, I would just make it even worse trying to fix it on my own!

Yes it is! We got it all set up so in case it does rain (which it probably will) we have a tent up, so now my parents can stop freaking out! It looks good, there won't be more than 100 people there so we can easily fit everyone under the covering. I don't think I could have taken another day of stressful parents!

So I was just looking around in the Disney movie rewards program, just seeing what kind of rewards there were. I clicked on one I was kinda interested in to see what the charge on shipping was going to be for me. Apparently it's nothing! I hit continue when they asked me my address and said it was on it's way!

So now I have got a Blu-ray copy of Chronicles of Narnia coming in the mail. It's a good thing I had clicked on something I wanted! At least that answered my question about how much shipping costs too. Apparently it's nothing!

I got that email too. I considered Eight Below, but I already have it on DVD, so I didn't really want to pay the $5 for shipping on the Blu-ray. And I didn't really want the other two.

Jillian, I remember when I got one of those emails. Wait, I can't remember if it was for my birthday or Anniversary with the site. But Enchanted on Blu Ray was one of my options so I jumped on that one in a heartbeat. $4 for a Disney movie I loved on Blu-Ray that came with another code for 125 points? Wasn't too shabby at all.

Shoot, reminds me I have some movie tickets I should upload. I've been stockpiling points for forever waiting for some new Snow White anything. I wish they would put Vinylmations back up there. That would make my day.

So today is cleaning day and I am tackling my room! Should be fun. I mostly just need to fold/hang up clothes since it only looks a disaster because they are thrown into a big old pile on top of my dresser. Then I want to figure out how to organize my shelves and start displaying my Vinylmations!

Oh I love Enchanted! If a movie I loved would've been an option I would've paid the $5 but none caught my eye. Plus it was for a blu ray and I don't have a blu ray player.
I redeemed some points a while back for the Up grape soda pin but I haven't been collecting points too much lately.

As for the rain, its coming down pretty good here too. Not stormy or anything just a steady drizzle. Hopefully it lets up some by 6 for the wedding. We practiced two scenarios last night in preparation for the rain so getting wet won't be an issue. I am more concerned about bring cold!
Oh well I will suffer for my sister!

I know the pin you're talking about! So far I've redeemed for a couple of Jim Shoe figures. One was Nana from Peter Pan, and the other was the Winnie the Pooh one. I love Jim Shore, although I usually only go for Snow White figures. But I had the points and it didn't wipe me out so I thought why not. I love them.

Major headache/migraine today! Hoping it goes away soon!

Hubby and I got a new camera yesterday. Its a Canon Powershot ELPH 300?!?!

Now I just need to learn how to use it really quick!?!?

Hey Paula! Congrats on the new camera. I'm sure you'll do fine with it before you leave. I'm a fan of Cannon's (although I've been shooting with Nikon's for awhile now) and I don't think you could go wrong there.

But what a fun new toy! I hope your headache/migraine goes away. Sounds like absolutely no fun. Boo!

Its funny... so we went to Best Buy because hubby had gotten a gift card from his Best Friend for there for his birthday. I had thought the coolpix was like a great camara and would get one of those. Hubby wanted the Samsung dual screen one which I had actually wanted when I first saw them and was like... okay.. cool... then the people said that the picture quality isn't as good as the Sony's and Canons... If I am going to spend $200+ on a P&S camera it better be good quality pics!!!

We finally settled on this one because it has a low light option as well as a bunch of other things and a wider angle. Funny how we ended up with one completely different than either of us had in mind!

Someday I would love to have a DSLR but I don't know that I would take it around the parks anyways... I like to have minimal baggage!

We aren't getting rain yet today...but we did wake up with ugly snow on the ground!!! SNOW! In June! Not happy. It's mostly melted now, do hopefully that is the last of it!
