Thats a nice gift. Unfortunately hp is the kind I have that I have issues with.

I have always had great luck with HP and Compaq. This was a great choice for her it has a battery life of 8 hours and 45 minutes which is great for a college student.

That's an amazing battery life! Mine is only about an hour. Most of my issues are due to the cheap plastic case. Where the ac adapter plugs in it chipped so the ac adapter would not stay in tight.

We had one like that and it drove me nuts. The battery life is so perfect for a computer that will taken to school when she starts out at the college. And it is so cute. She is not a fan of pink but it was the only color they had there and that was the one she wanted.

I think the pink has grown on her. I let her play with it for a few hours today and it broke her heart to have to give it up.

Thank you. It is combined 18th birthday and graduation present. I figure it is a good tool for school. I thought it was absolutely adorable.

And then after that, Dillon's work is throwing us a mini baby shower, which I am also very appreciative of, but I hate being put on the spot.

You know what's funny, I really didn't like that stuff for my wedding, I hated being the center of attention. But baby shower, I was totally fine with, I think because it was more about the baby?

I am back, and it wasn't so bad. I am quite overwhelmed with everything, but it's all good. I have that guilty feeling too. We have been SO spoiled with baby stuff.

Yeah, me! DD7 was born in 2004, Caylee in 2005. So when the news broke about her being missing for a month with no reporting in 2008, I could very much relate to having a child about that age, and couldn't imagine ever having circumstances where I wouldn't be do everything possible to get my child back. Of course now she's saying her daughter accidentally drowned, and because of her PTSD she just went into denial and lied. Even *if* that's true, OK, I am a abuse survivor too, does that mean if God forbid my child gets into an accident I don't call 9-1-1? It's sooooo nuts. I could go on and on, LOL
