I am. I have been watching since I heard there was going to be an announcement.

The President is getting ready to speak. They say that he is going to announce that Osama Bin Laden is dead.

I actually love "Celebrity Apprentice" and am thrilled that it's on now!!

I live right by the Israeli Consulate and the Jewish Federation and there are bomb threats all the time.....I imagine that security will be increased overnight. They increase it whenever anything happens in the world that may cause a backlash.

From what I heard, Bin Laden was shot in the head in a huge palace somewhere in Pakistan, and he was with his family.

I want to see the person who took him down. I'm weird like that. I'm sure the government would like to keep the guy anonymous for safety reasons, but I want to to see who finally brought down the monster they have been chasing for 10 years. I wonder what it felt like for that guy to be the one to get payback on the terrorist who took thousands of lives.

That is a heady thing to live with. It's pretty intense.

Oh yeah, they couldn't tell us or name any of the people directly involved in the killing, I would assume. That will be the sort of thing that comes out when the person (the assassin) is on his/her deathbed...or after.

I suspect that while Pakistan was telling us that they were looking for Bin Laden too, all of these years, they were actually helping him - or at least some of them were (some specific people). No great shock there, I suppose. They are going to be mad at us for going into their country and taking him out without stopping to check with them for permission first (uh...yeah...I don't think we were going to be waiting on them for permission), but I suspect they are going to have to answer to some folks for (probably) helping Bin Laden hide for all this time. It won't be pretty.

I know it's a big night for everyone, but just thought I'd come say hello. Not really sure what to say about it all, so I will probably just stay out of it for the most part.

Just went and saw Fast Five, and thought it was really good. I love the F&F movies, and also love Dwayne Johnson, so that made this one extra enjoyable for me.

No, it won't be pretty. One thing that this has allowed for is closure for the families involved in all aspects of 9/11. Seriously that is something that has been needed. I am reminded of VE Day when I see the people gathered at the White House and Ground Zero. And strangely they all know the national anthem.
