Hey everyone! I've had a long day, lol. Dillons mom came to help paint the room and also brought her sewing machines and we made Mickey sheets for the crib. Fun stuff! The room is looking really good though.

They also gave us an early baby gift...a video camera!!! We have been shopping for one the last few months, but hadn't caught any deals. Now we don't have to!

I really enjoyed Sorcerers Apprentice. I like Nicolas Cage quite a bit. He's in two of my favorite movies (Con Air and Gone In 60 Seconds). But I wasn't expecting much when I went to dee SA, but ended up liking it enough to buy it when it came out on Blu-ray.

Yesterday was DD7's school fundraiser walkathon, she walked 14 miles. So, yeah, we can do the 13.1 in January, no problem

I worked the whole day, I'm going to co-chair the event next year, what did I get myself into??!!!

Off to go recover on the beach with friends Have a great rest of the weekend peeps!

I was uploading my pictures from my camera to my computer the other day. My daughter took 25 pictures of trees at Roaring Camp Railroad. you know, 'cause you can never have too many pictures of trees.

I love Roaring Camp Railroad... It has very fond memories for me! My now hubby took me there on my first trip to meet him here in CA.

Roaring Camp is fun. I have done both the trains the one that goes to Santa Cruz and the other. Both fun! Of course witht he one that goes to Santa Cruz you can get off at the boardwalk and have some fun there too!

Roaring Camp would be a good one to spend the overnight at the beach in Santa Cruz or Capitola for a nice weekend.

Ahhh... that one looks like is is the same owners of the Skunk Train but a different train called the River Train. That one would be closer. Still farther than the Roaring Camp for me but not quite as far as Fort Bragg!

I love Fort Bragg. The north coast is so different from the south coast and I am not sure what it is but I love it.

Man, so glad I'm not alone! My mom has a friend who lives in Fort Bragg and we'd go visit every now and again when I was younger. I absolutely hated it! I would hate it much more now if I had to drive.
