A Very Chit-Chat Thread

We turned the furnace off the other day too. We figured it wouldn't get cold enough again to need it. Today we kind of need it, but instead of turning it back on, I just put on a sweater, lol. I am liking the idea of the heat bills being $50 again instead of the $120 they've been all winter. Hopefully it warms up soon. The sun is out right now, but that doesn't mean it's warm out.

Yep today would warrant turning it back on but I did not either. I want those smaller bills! I did throw comforters back on the beds as it is supposed to be cold tonight and there are milkhouse heaters in the bedrooms in case it really gets cold but I doubt we will need those. I am currently curled up opn the couch with a hoodie & a throw and I am fine. I wish the sun would come out really I do even for a little while.

Just went out to get the mail, and even though it's sunny out, the breeze makes it rather chilly. Brr. But it's supposed to be sunny and nice this weekend with a possible thunderstorm. Would rather that any day over snow in May!

I am excited cause Dillon's mom is coming over tomorrow to help with the baby room! She paints all the time, so she is a good person to have help.

She is bringing her sewing machine so I can do some things while they paint. No I won't feel completely useless!

I enjoy sewing, i'm just not very good at it. We got tessa a sewing machine for Christmas. I really wish i could help her more. I find patterns to be confusing.

That's exciting Andrea! It feels good to be making progress, doesn't it.

You have had a very good pregnancy, I don't think i've heard you complain about much. Easy pregnancies are always good!

I cannot cut out a pattern to save my life. I can sew pretty well free hand. I prefer sewing by hand and not with the machine. I love to embroider designs on things. Especially tea towels, there is something fun about having hand made towels with the day of the week and a design on them.

I haven't used a sewing machine in years, and all I used it for was a home economics class in high school. I will have no idea what I am doing, but hopefully it won't take me long to catch on, lol.

I have so many cute patterns. My favorites are pigs, and they are doing things like painting, pulling a grocery cart, life things.

Other than the headaches i had in the second trimester and still get once in a while, it's been pretty easy going. I am really starting to enjoy sweat pants and pj pants though. Even my maternity jeans are feeling pretty snug. Every time I wear them he starts running his knuckles or something along my waistline. And unsettling feeling, let me tell you!
