Thanks Gisele. She has a bug of some sort.

Don't you just love when the doctors answer is what you were saying to yourself before you paid him!

Hope she is feeling better today!

We just had egg salad on croissants for lunch and are just kicking back until it is time to start all the dinner stuff. We got a beautiful sunny Easter Sunday up here....no snow in sight and I have been wearing shorts and flip flops since we got home from church.

Hey there!

It's almost 3 in the morning, almost bed time, lol. We just got back from Calgary. We stayed last night and were gonna stay tonight too, but I wanted to get back to my own bed!

Our roommate decided to use our time away to have a bit of a party it seems though. Normally I wouldn't care, but they reek of alcohol, and the dogs hadn't been let out in obviously a while, cause there was pee all over the floor by the back door. Grrrrr! Other than the extra income, I am not a fan of the whole roommate thing. We asked him if he wanted us to get someone else to look after the dogs while we were away, and he said he'd be fine with it. Obviously not!

Anyways, I am rambling cause I am beat! Lol.

Michele, I hope your daughter is feeling better now. And I hope everyone is having a good Easter weekend! Jessica, sorry about your Sharks tonight. :sad2:

Hi Andrea,

I would be ticked at my roommate too. What a juice bag.

Happy Easter Everyone! :)

Happy Easter!!

:flower1:Happy Easter Everyone!!! :flower1:

ugh that is one reason why I would rather pay more rent then have a roommate. I was gonna move in with a friend of mine, but after spending two visits to DLR sharing a hotel room that is no way that is gonna happen!!

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter everyone!

Mu Easter is rather blah... I worked last night and work again tonight which equals sleeping most of the day!

I made myself some Pancakes with fresh strawberries on them for breakfast! Pretty yummy!

Happy Easter!! M hubby is working overtime this weekend too. Too bad they don't consider Easter a holiday at his plant.

I do, but I wanted to make sure she didn't have something serious wrong.

I would have taken her too but I hate when there is no "real" answer. So you didn't say how is she today?

Here is an Easter pic of my Granddaughters in Arizona

Aw they are so cute Sherry.

She is better, and should be able to return to school tomorrow. Thank you for asking.

They have their state tests this week, and the oldest doesn't take the tests so she wants me to make two trips in the morning to take them to school because she doesn't want to use the study hall during that time. It rather ticks me off that she thinks that she can take advantage of me like that.

Yeah, having a roommate is very frustrating sometimes. I am trying to get our place all cleaned up and germ free, and somehow he manages to get hand prints and crud everywhere. It's very frustrating when you want a clean house for a new baby. And I am not good at telling people when something they are doing is bugging me.

On the plus side it's very warm today and sunny. I want to go and walk off some of our huge dinner, but Dillon says he doesn't like walking when he's so full. I am still going to try and get him out!

That's frustrating that your daughter is trying to take advantage. Hopefully she comes to her senses!

Cute pic Sherri!

Hope everyone is having a great Easter!

Hi Andrea!!

Our weather is nice today too.

I wished that you lived much closer to me. I would take your dogs for a walk, and play with them. That way, your dogs will not be at the mercy of your, if you don't mind my saying, lazy roommate. And if they like the beach, we would all go for a ride out to Bodega Bay, or maybe Baker Beach. Similar in distance.

Hey Michele!

I am sure my Jack Russell would love the beach! Not sure about my Chihuahua though. Last time we took them to a lake, she wasn't a fan of the water, lol.

I like School House Beach.

I don't think I would take a dog as small as a Chihuahua on a beach in Sonoma.

What might happen to a wee bit of a dog on a beach? Get lost maybe? I would keep her on leash. Or maybe if there is a loose large dog, then I can see that. If anything, big dog can go out on the beach, and the wee one, can stay in the car for a little bit. Then a nice walkie. Something like that.

We had a roommate when I was pregnant with Amy (I cannot believe that was 24 years ago!) and your roommate woes over these last weeks remind me of that time alot! Thing is with a baby on the way your priorities change... roommates do not. Our roommate moved out when Amy was about 4 months old and I have not had another one since. The loss of the extra money wasn't ideal but we were ready to be on our own.

Yeah, the extra money is really nice, but at the same time I would like to enjoy this time with just the three of us. And not have to worry about cleaning after another person too. I am not his mother, but I feel like it sometimes when I have to clean up after him. A while back, after I spent 2 hours giving the bathroom a good clean, he gets home from work and has a shower and leaves shaving cream drops all over the sink and cupboard, leaves the razor and shaving can out as well, and sprayed the mirrors with crap. I was soooo angry. What am I supposed to say though, without sounding naggy? And I even tried a cleaning chart so every week we each had one thing to clean. Dillon and I did ours, but he never did his. Grrrr!

Andrea, that would drive me crazy. I would sound like a nag for sure.

I would love to nag, lol, but I don't really feel comfortable doing it to him. It just makes me feel really crappy, but don't really have a choice if I want a clean house, do I?

Chances are once the baby is born and you have to clamp down on him he may leave.

Well I don't think I would be completely upset if he did, but at the same time, our Disney trip might depend on his income a bit. We will see. I might go to work sooner than planned, since I have been off for so long. Even if it's just part time in the evenings. And if I can make more that I am making from EI.

I hope he starts to cooperate with you. You don't need him making more work for you.
