A Very Chit-Chat Thread

Morning, morning, morning. Getting ready for work so I thought I'd drop in and say hi, ladies.

Sharks won last night!! They can wrap up this series at home tomorrow night and I'm excited.

Oh, and remember it's Earth Day! I can't say I'm doing anything big. Wish I cuold spend another day without driving but I thought I did good this week. I've got work, a trip to the Disney Store for my reusable bag, and then I'll probably see the new Disney Nature movie, African Cats, tonight as well.

For Earth Day we are moving a 12ft tall Russian Olive tree that is badly placed at my Mother's house to our place and we are planting a new Quaking Aspen tree as well. Plus this afternoon is the egg hunt at the retirement home so busy day today!

Oh... I hope she feels better! First things I think of when I hear stomach pains and nausea are appendicitis and chole issues... What area of her stomach is hurting? Has she been vomiting or just saying she feels ill?

She can't eat. She has gone all day and then tried to eat a small meal of soup or toast at mealtime and it hurts worse and she gets nauseas but doesn't vomit. She doesn't ever vomit. Today with the fever I decided it was definitely time to see her doctor.

I'm debating going to the Disney Store for the reusable bag... I think I would spend more in gas to get it though so that would not be earth friendly so even though I really want it I think I will pass.

I was thinking about that too but it is a waste of gas for me to go across town just for that.

I have an exciting day of taking my daughter to the doctor today. She has been sick with stomach pains and nausea since Tuesday and this morning she has a fever. So today my day will be spent at Camp Kaiser. Oh joy. I know you're jealous.

Thanks ladies. Doctor says it is a bug and that taking it easy is the right way to treat it. By Monday she should be well enough to go back to school. Yay!!

I was exhausted by the time I got off work today so I didn't end up heading to my DS so I don't think I'm getting my reusable bags. But I do think I'll go see African Cats tomorrow morning since it'll be cheaper for the first show (and probably loaded with kids, lol).

You'd be surprised. I saw both Earth and Oceans on opening weekend, first show and both were packed with young kids. I hadn't ever seen the theater I go to with that many people there for the first show before.

oooh I wanna see that! I will probably have to wait till it's out on DVD because 1)I work almost every night the next few weeks and 2) none of my friends would wanna watch it
