A Very British Web Page

Love the family pictures. Men have not caught on to the capri pants yet. My dd boyfriend from England wore them 3 years ago and they still have not caught on in the U.S. My boys wear their shorts low and that makes their shorts longer, but then it is only below the knee.

You sure get a lot of time off, glad to see you work to live, not live to work.

Read your report when it came out and enjoyed your trip report very much, and now the photos. They are great!!! fantastic.!! :cool1:
Thanks for sharing

Kevin,

Thank you so much for the photos! I can't believe how grown up the girls are getting....especially India. My 13 year old son (Kevin, as it happens) made a similar transformation, seemingly overnight. It's awfully scary, isn't it?

Oh.....and I can't say I'm thrilled to see the girls wearing caps for the evil empire - NY Yankees. I may have to get your address to send them some Red Sox caps!!

Thanks again for the great report, and the photos. As usual, you brightened up my day! :cheer2:

In the girls defence, they have no idea who the New York Yankees are! They just like the 'american-ness' of the hats! I did try to tell them, but it fell on deaf ears as usual. :confused3

Looks like you got the same camera I've got. It seems to make my hair look gray in any picture of me. It's got to be the camera, not because I'm getting old.

Amazing! And I thought it was a defective camera. Although my hair does not actually come out gray in the photos, it's distinguishingly light. ;)

Hi! Just wanted to say your trips reports are the best ever. I sat amazed at all the beautiful pictures and you have a wonderful way of telling a story :flower: . I hope to take a trip something like the one you guys have taken, it really does sound wonderful!!
Take care and take more trips please ;)

Dear Kevin Stringer, Thanks so much for your trip report. I'm a California girl( well actually a 49 year old :earseek: ), and live right below the Sequoia National Forest. About 45 minutes below Fresno in the Valley. Yes it does get hot in the summertime!! :sunny: Had fun reading about the trees( aren't they just grand?) and Yosemite. I was just mentoning to my husband the other day, how it has been quite a few years since we had been there. I think when you live so close to something you take it for granted! Last time we went camping. Was glad to be in a trailer. Do not like the bears. From a distance yes, but not in your campsite in a flimsy tent. Anyways, on to your report. Love every bit of it. Everything is so fun, cuz I've been to most of the places. Sorry you didn't like San Francisco better. The last few years, my good friends and I have gone every holiday to do our Christmas shopping. Tell Tam that this is the ultimate shopping trip. Union Square( did you see it?) is all decorated, with a HUGE Christmas tree in the center. The stores are just beautiful and the window displays are like Disney. Last year we took in the live musical play "White Christmas". (Originally old Bing Crosby movie. You probably know that). I was in heaven. Gotta love it. On to DL. Glad you enjoyed it. I guess you could say that this is our stomping grounds for Disney. For the first time ever, my family of 10 are going to WDW in December to celebrate the holidays. Can't wait to see the simularities and differences. I could go on and on about the places you went to and places you should have gone to, but I know everything takes time. If you ever come back again, go to our favorite beach, Huntington. The ultimate California surf and sand beach that you might see in a movie. You can walk for miles on the beach along the strand (as they call it) and watch eveything, from surfers, beach volleyball, skaters, bikers, joggers, skateboarders and so on. If you like cars, like my husband and sons do, they have it all and more!!! I love it there! I could go on. I'd like to talk about your country too. My husband and I went there about a year and a half ago. We had quite an experience. Maybe later if you are interested I'll tell you about that. Have to go and pick my Mom Sister up from the train. Thanks again for your trip report. :flower:
