Just wanted to thank everyone here for sharing their creativity. We are taking the grandkids (girls - 8 and 11), on the Dream in March 2012. I've stalked the board for months preparing for our online booking date. I saw so many creative ideas, and then found this section. Just wanted to say how nice it is of you all to share your ideas and skills. I never would have thought of doing anything special if I hadn't read all your wonderful reports.
My "artistic" side leans to the computer-related stuff. I know I'll never be able to sew or do much in the crafts line, but I wanted to do something special for the grandkids, so I came up with this - I modified the graphics on the emails I've received about the cruise info, and sent an email to the kids. It looks very official, and gives them a personal welcome from Mickey (his email addy is "cruising.mouse@xxxx.com")
I've set up a temporary email address, and received Mom's permission to send it to them (can we say, "VERY protective parents - which is fine). Now I just have to think of things to send to them every so often to keep their excitement level up
