A valet parking questions

I know there is a $6 per day charge. If I use the valet parking at the WL, will they just add this $6 per day to my final bill, or do I have to actually pay the valet the $6 per day in cash? How does that work?

Also, I know that if I pay the $6 to be parked at the WL, I don't have to pay again if I drive to AKL for dinner or whatever - right? Do they give you something that shows you are already being charged for that day, like a receipt or something?

Also, we were planning on tipping $2 at drop off and $2 at pick up. Is that acceptable?

We've never done valet parking anywhere before, so I'm not sure how it works. Thanks!

They'll put it on your room account, so that would be your "final bill".

If you valet at one resort, you can valet at ALL resorts for no additional charge.

We always tip $2-3 at drop off, $2-3 at pickup. Most people only tip $2-3 at pickup, but our personal feelings are that BOTH people deserve a tip.

Thanks! I guess my question was - how does the AKL valet know that I am already being charged for valet parking at the WL?

You get a "valet pass" to hang on your rearview mirror (or, set it infront of you windshield), and it'll have the date stamped on it. Each day of the week has a different color.
