A Vacation From Kuwait... The TR!

Catching up!
That resort looks gorgeous!!! Wow!
We've enjoyed Via Napoli. I really love the salad, although it is huge! Last time we were there, we split meals because there's so much food.
I love your frontrunner for your wedding dress. I'm sure you'll look stunning!

That one is spectacular! The fact that it`s within budget is a bonus!! You`ll know as soon as you try them on exacty which one is for you! Can`t wait to hear!

I keep going to the website to look at it. I am pretty sure I'm going to love it when I put it on. Hopefully it's still available when I get home. I think I might call the bridal shop to find out.:goodvibes

I can't wait for the trip to Mexico! I love going on vacations to do nothing and it's a pretty rare occurrence for me!

I am loving all the planning for the wedding and I haven't even really started yet.:rotfl:

I have been so preoccupied with wedding stuff that I have to force myself to do the TR and PTR updates! :goodvibes I really love wedding planning though! It's so much fun.:thumbsup2

But anyway on day two of our fall trip we'll be headed to MK for the morning. I'm thinking either breakfast at Captain Cooks or the Main Street Bakery that morning. I have heard the Tonga Toast at CCs isn't nearly as good as at Kona so not sure if it would be worth a try or not.

Can I just say I'm psyched to be able to just jump on the Monorail to get to MK?! I might be ruining myself for other resorts with this trip!

We'll stay at MK until around 1pm after a QS lunch at Aidan's favorite Pecos Bills. I really like the taco salad there so no complaints from me. We'll probably hit everything we want to do by then but Scott is supposed to be flying in at 4pm that evening and he'll want to hit up a park for a couple of hours before our ADR at Ohana at 9:40pm. I think the Halloween party may be going on because there's no parade or fireworks listed for that night. Do they pipe in the music for Hallowishes on the beach at the Poly? If so we'll just watch them from there.

After our very late dinner it will be off to bed in our beautiful room! :goodvibes

Hey! Haven't seen any posts in forever so I wanted to check in and see if everything was ok? How are the trip and wedding plans going?

Hope all is well!

I'm still here too!! Hope things are going well!

You come home next month, right? :confused3

Sorry for bailing on this TR guys! I am home and have been since the 1st of September. It's been overwhelming to say the least! We went to Mexico for 5 days and just returned from Disney a few days ago.
It is so great to be home with my family! And being able to do what I want when I want is just such a change from the last year it felt so weird at first, lol. I adjusted quickly though!:goodvibes

The external hard drive with all my pictures from the March trip is packed away somewhere and I haven't found it yet... but when I do I will finish up the last couple of days of that trip.

I don't think I am going to write a TR on this last one but I will say that we had a great time at the Food and Wine Festival and the half marathon was a blast (even though I did it with an injury) and I love, love, love the Poly and now don't want to stay anywhere else!

I am going to make the rounds on here today and catch up with all my DIS friends. :lovestruc

It's so great to hear from you!!! Welcome home!! I'm glad you've had some nice vacation time since you've been back. :goodvibes

Welcome Home:hug: I'm sure it's a huge adjustment coming home after a year but a welcomed one:hug:

So happy that you had a wonderful time and that you enjoyed the Poly! F & W is my favorite time to be at the World, I love the feel of WS anytime, but during F & W it seems different!

Thanks Amy! It's great to be back but boy I have been going non stop! I finally have a few days to relax and do a lot of nothing! :goodvibes It will only last a couple of days though. Aidan is in 7th grade and the homework load is unreal! I am disliking middle school more and more.

Hope you and your family are well!:thumbsup2

The adjustment has been VERY easy. It's really the small things that I missed so much. After spending 12 months having to shower with flip flops on felling the shower floor with my feet was so strange, lol! Also indoor plumbing... It's the best thing ever! :rotfl:

Thanks for coming back to my TR after I was gone so long!

Welcome Home! It's so glad to hear from you again! I had completely forgotten you would be at W&D! Too bad, we could have done a meet up again! And actually taken a picture this time!

Welcome home! I'm glad you were able to get another trip in. I've never stayed at the Poly, but I can imagine how great it is! Maybe one of these trips.
