Thanks Amy! Time here is really starting to fly which is great especially since it's been 120° here! And since Kuwait is on the coast we get the humidity too.:sad2: I have never felt anything like the heat here. It makes Florida in August feel cool!

Can't believe it's not that long until you're home! That is so exciting! Can't wait until you start that Ptrpopcorn::

I know!! It feels like a dream...:cloud9: When I think back to when we left the States it's like it was last week! The time has really moved quickly for me!

Just a quick update that has nothing to do with my TR or PTR. Scott booked us a 4 night trip to Playa Del Carmen in Mid September! We're going from the 18th to the 22nd and staying at the Grand Sunset Princess Resort in a swim out suite which means we can walk off of our little terrace right into the pool! Here's a few pictures I got off the internet.

Isn't it pretty? I have spent the last 24 hours pouring over reviews on Trip Advisor and the majority of the reviews are positive so I'm really excited!

It's no Disney World but I'll take it!:rotfl:

Wow - that is amazing!!! I bet it's just what you two need!!

By the way, when is your wedding?

As I was reading your latest post Jasmine came up behind me and asked me where the pictures were from...she said she could definitely get used to a swim out suite:lmao:

It's definitely going to be nice having some time to ourselves. Even when we're not deployed we don't get much.

The wedding is August 20th 2012. The ceremony is at Sea Breeze Point at the Boardwalk and the reception is at Italy Isola (lower terrace) at Epcot. I'm so excited to have a theme park reception! It's a bit more than we had planned on spending and we could have a much cheaper wedding if we did it at the Wedding Pavilion with a GF ballroom reception but while the ballrooms are nice it's 4 walls there's not much that's Disney about it (if that makes sense) and I could have a ballroom reception in NH just the same. I want my Disney Wedding to be a Disney Wedding. We're thinking Jamaica for our honeymoon. But I change my mind every couple days so we won't know fro sure until it's actually booked and paid for!:goodvibes

The place looks gorgeous. I plan on spending all my time on our little pool sunbed with a mojito in my hand! 5 days will not be long enough!:goodvibes

That sounds amazing!! Are you going to write a PTR for that trip? I'd love to hear all of the details!! How many people are you inviting? We had a destination wedding in Jamaica but only had very close family. We had 10 people there.

Jamaica must have been a beautiful place for your wedding. I've had doubts about this Disney wedding only because logistically it's going to be a little difficult but then I look at others peoples photos from their own DFTW and I am right bck to being excited about it! I think instead of having a completely different PTR for the wedding I'll just pepper this TR/PTR and my TR from October.

Right now the guest list is at 57 not including us. I have my dress choice narrowed down to 3.

I can't wait to get home to start trying some on! :goodvibes

The details of the trip are getting a little fuzzy now since it's been months and I didn't take notes at all. But this is the day we slept in and I think the only day we went to the pool. It wasn't exactly warm out but the boys swam and I went in the hot tub with a yummy mojito (or three). We spent the whole morning with the pool basically to ourselves which was nice then got lunch to go from The Mara and ate in the room.

Once we were dry and full we decided to head over to Downtown Disney to shop. Boy did I shop! I think I ended up with 3 new sweatshirts and 3 t shirts along with the stuff I got for Scott and his kids! I also purchased the roller bag that you could get for $30 if you spent so much. It worked out well since I didn't end up having room in my suitcase after that little spree! One of these days I'll actually figure out how to pack light enough to actually go home with the same amount of luggage I came with.:goodvibes

Unfortunately I didn't take a single picture of my purchases OR of our day thus far at all. I am such a slacker with the camera.

Once we were done in DTD we made our way back to AKL to drop off our goodies and meet up with DM to head over to Epcot for an ADR at Via Napoli.

Salad for two... More like 20!

Largest pizza the have available. I think it's a meter in size!

The meal was decent. I thought the prosciutto would be cooked with the pizza so I wouldn't get that one again. I do like the atmosphere there. It's really light and open. We'll go back for sure.

After dinner we didn't stick around. It was just too cold once the sun started going down so we headed back to the room and went to bed early.

I love the dresses!!! I'd have a hard time picking a favorite from the three... they are all gorgeous. :confused3

A relaxing pool/shopping day is always good. :thumbsup2 We bought that same rolling suitcase/bag & ended up needing it for the trip home too.

I love that the middle one has pockets! You'll have to keep us posted once you try them on!

That salad is huge....and the pizza even bigger than I could have imagined! It all looks very good! I can't wait to go back!!

I really love that silhouette. I have a new front runner I think, for now anyway...:rotfl:

I like this one the best as of right now and it's in my budget!

Via Napoli was great but I'm getting something else next time. I think with a few people a small pizza is plenty if you're doing the salad and a dessert.

Another beautiful dress!! It has a similar shape to the second dress. I don't know how you are going to decide... I guess you'll know when you try them on.

I'm definitely going for the more classic shape which is weird because I was sure I didn't want that. I Like this last one better because the details seem softer to me and it's still got the pockets! :thumbsup2 Not entirely sure what I'll put in them but I like that they're there anyway.

That one is spectacular! The fact that it`s within budget is a bonus!! You`ll know as soon as you try them on exacty which one is for you! Can`t wait to hear!
