08/06: IOA
I woke up at 7:45 and started to get ready. I was going to let DW and DS sleep in alittle, but we had a 9:15 ressie at Confisco's for the Cat in the Hat breakfast. They both woke up at 8 and we were off by 8:30. When we got to Confisco's they sat us right away. It was a great breakfast. The price was $15.99 for adults and $9.95 for children. The buffet included eggs, bacon, french toast, biscuits and gravy, and pastries. Drinks are not included. We had OJ and coffee. The character interaction was great and I was worried because it was packed and they stuffed us in a corner. No reason to worry! The characters there were: CITH, The Grinch, Spiderman, Rogue and Captain America. It was alot of fun. After breakfast, DS wanted to get his face painted like CITH so we headed to Marvel to do this. We then decided to start back in Seuss Landing as the park was packed. Express plus passes were selliing for $40 dollars and they sold out by 11 a.m. We were okay with FOTL though, just packed when walking around. We did all the attractions in Seuss Landing and we started to walk to the lost continent. DW looks at me and says "I know you want to, so let's just go" as she points to Mythos! Twice in one trip? I could not believe it. I checked with the hostess as we had no ressie for this day and she said it was a 15 minute wait. I go sit down and within 1 minute the pager goes off. She looked at me and said "I remember you" I got you the next table. I could not believe it. We were seated and served instantly. DW had the plantains again, I had the citrus salad with the wood oven pizza of the day and DS had cheese pizza. He was chickened out, I guess.
Total bill $42.10 with tip. After lunch, we walked into Jurassic park and rode the River adventure again as well as camp Jurassic. After this we walked into Toon Lagoond and rode Popeye's twice. After getting wet, we hung out in Toon Lagoon, shopped and had icecream floats at Cathy's. At about 4 p.m. we decided to ride Spiderman one more time and head back to the hotel for swimming. We got back to the resort and swam for a while before freshening up and going back to IOA. We got to IOA at about 7 p.m. and decided to eat dinner at Confisco's. Big mistake. This was worse meal number two. The service was slow and the food was so so. DS had pizza, DW had the burger, and I had the peach bbq wings and confisco fries. Total bill with tip $44.13.
After dinner we went to Citywalk and watched the fireworks from the grass sitting area. After this, we went back to the hotel for rest.
Tomorrow: Wet and Wild....or so we thought!!!!!
