A Two Short, Too Different Spring Break Trip (Time to Say Goodbye)

Jill commented on the new logo as soon as she saw it, too. It is cute.

Opry Mills is a good mall. It has the Rainforest Cafe and a Build-a-Bear Workshop. It has a place where you can touch the stingrays and a good sized carousel in the food court.

Nashville has The Parthenon, Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry, and a science museum. There is also the Grassmere Wildlife Park. Maybe Erica, Dawn, and Jill can add some more things to the list. Fairly near our house there is Moss-Wright Park, which would be a nice place for us to meet and have a picnic and let the kids play, if you do come this way.

Just thought of something else - the Wave Pool.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. That sounds like plenty to keep us busy for a long weekend. If we don't get to Nashville this summer, it sounds like a perfect getaway in the future!!

Glad to hear you had such a good trip this weekend. Thinking of your great weekend together is making me miss my mom as well. Just under two weeks before we see them again!

Wish me luck tomorrow morning, when I try to book my package with Free Dining. ;)

I will be up with all the others at 6:59am dialing the reservation line.

My first choices are ASMusic or POP. Since we've stayed at the other Values. :wizard:

No Mickey waffles this morning? Brooklynn wanted cereal instead.

I'm glad I'm not the only girl who loves the Mickey plates. How much are they anyway?

Hi guys! :goodvibes I didn't even realize that you had a new TR! I hope you had a great trip with your friend, MeMom. You deserved it! I know it must have been hard leaving your girls, but it was better for Jill to be safe. I can not believe it's almost time for Princess #2 to arrive! princess: Isabella is such a beautiful name. Is Brooklynn ready to be a big sister? BTW, Jill, you look radiant! Best wishes for a quick delivery! :goodvibes

Take care,
Michelle

P.S. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all in December! :santa:

I thought the same thing Dawn! (about the smelly trees) The problem is, they're not even all the same scent! :rotfl2: Those trees reminded me of Grumpy Old Men when Walter Mattheau (can't spell his name) has a "stink" in his car and he has put pine trees ALL over his car!! I LOVE that movie.
We have friends that live in Huntsville! I know that Huntsville is a big city, and all I know about where they live is that you have to drive over the mountain to get to the city.

Next time, I'll have to zoom closer in on the trees and see what wonderful scents we are supposed to be smelling as we enter Disney World.

I don't know anything about Huntsville except how to get to Jill's house. I'll be following them to the hospital next Tuesday morning, and Jill will give me exact instructions on how to get back to her house at the end of the day.

I cry every time I leave the girls. Brooklynn was saying, "Don't leave!" Broke my heart. And I knew that the next time I see Jill, it will be to go get her new baby girl, so I was kind of emotional when I left.

I hope you do make it to Nashville someday. We will have that picnic when you come!

Good luck on the morning call! I hope you get what you want. We like both Pop and All Star Music!

She fixed pancakes with her mommy yesterday morning. This morning, she just said she wanted cereal. She had it in a Tinkerbell bowl and drank from a Princess cup. Surprised?

More than I wanted to spend for one plate, and truly if I had bought one, I would have wanted to buy more. So I bought none. I can always borrow from Megablocks! :)

It was fun, but I've already planted the seed for Jill for a spring break trip next year!

Brooklynn is ready for her Bella to come. These are the last few days of her being an only child, so Jill is really concentrating on stopping whenever she needs or just wants her.

We're looking forward to meeting you guys, too. I hope Jordan has a great experience being a Disney CM!

Here are some pictures from this weekend. I didn't realize there was something on the lens until too late, so you'll see a bit of a splotch on them.

I was disappointed in this cake, because Mickey was looking down at the ground. But, since by the time I picked the cake up, the party had been postponed and it didn't really matter, I didn't say anything when I got it.

Here are a couple of outfits I got the girls to wear to Disney World or wherever this summer.

We had a nice time together. She fell asleep on a sleeping bag in the living room floor while she was watching Mulan, so Jill just let her sleep in there for the night. I was sleeping on the couch. She woke up around one and called for Jill, and I told her I'd lay in the floor with her. She put her little hand on my arm and went right back to sleep. This morning, when she woke up, we talked for a few minutes, and then she said she was going to check on mommy. She went in Jill and John's bedroom and came out with a big grin and said, "I checked on them. They're sleeping."
That was followed by, "I want some cereal, MeMom."

I hope you all had a nice weekend. I hope all of those postcards make it to their destinations this week. Apparently it takes a lot longer for stuff to get to Canada, but if for some reason they do not get there, let me know and I will get your kids something sent from here, because I want them to receive something in the end. I know the U.S. ones arrived, and they were all mailed at the same time from the same mailbox at CBR. I have proof from dancin_princess's dad! He was with me when I mailed them. :)

Even with Mickey looking at the ground, the cake looks yummy!

Those outfits are so cute, and I notice that Brooklyn didn't waste anytime putting on the Minnie dress -- that's my favorite.

Isabella's room is precious!!!

Memom...those outfits are too cute as is Isabella's room! Its wierd to see Brooklyn outside in a sleeveless dress and no coat when it is snowing here right now. It won;t be much but still is cold. I forget that other parts of the country are warm. :headache:
My mom and I were shopping last weekend for new clothes for Caleb and we saw all the cute little girl clothes. I am in so much trouble if I ever have a girl! There are way too many cute clothes for them out there. Jill I hope you have good willpower!! You will need it with two cute little girls.:scared1:

Glad you had a nice weekend. We spent today at my aunts house for my twin cousins college graduation parties. My one cousin (the girl as they are boy-girl twins) is leaving in a week for a one year job in Sacremento. Its kind of like a goodwill...mission type job i'm told. But it was my last time to see her until xmas. I thought it would be nice for the whole family to go see her for xmas instead of her coming home but that was because I thought it would be warm there...nope its in part of the state that actually gets cold!:headache: My other cousin (the boy) will be trying out for a pro football team. He is a pretty good football player and won the division 3 football hiesman trophy (Gigliardi trophy and who knows if I spelled it right??) this year...so that is his plan for now and if not then...he will be looking for a job as he is not planning on grad school yet.
Caleb did soo well as he has not seem most of these family members since xmas. He just smiled and hammed it up.

Awww what a nice cake, even if Mickey is looking down!

Brooklynn is sooo adorable playing outside in her Minnie dress. All of the clothes you got for her and Bellarie are too cute and the new baby's room is great, all decked out in Disney. Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less ;):goodvibes

I LOVE the colors of Bella's room! I love that her boppie matches her bumper pad! Those outfits are great too. Brooklyn looks so cute in her Minnie dress.

If you don't go this year, you will surely make up for it when she's so close! Lucky her! What is she going to study in college? Is this the one that draws all the Disney characters?

Yes it is the daughter that draws the Disney characters. She feels God is calling her into ministry in one form or another. She's leaning towards youth ministry right now. She's very excited about going to college and also that she will be so close to Disney. We are too. We hope to be able to visit her and maybe pop into Disney every once in awhile. I keep asking DH if he doesn't think maybe God is calling him to Florida too. I mean those people need pastors too, don't they? :thumbsup2 So far, no luck!! lol

This is so sweet! Brings tears to my eyes!

I love Bella's room. It's so pretty! Where did the Cinderella pillow come from? I love it!

Brooklynn sure looks cute in her polka-dot Minnie dress!

Sounds like you managed to have a very nice weekend, despite the party cancellation. :goodvibes

The Mickey cake is cute, but I know it's frustrating when you pay for something and end up feeling like it's just not quite right. Hopefully it still tasted good.

Isabella's room is just precious! And I love all the little outfits you bought for the girls. So cute. It looks like Brooklynn got a head start on wearing one of her new dresses. ;) She looks adorable!

Brooklynn is getting so big.. so tall! Love love the dress! Thanks again for the postcards- I posted but you were getting caught back up into life! Have a great week...

Oh, yeah; when Brooklynn gets something new, it's got to be tried on pretty quickly! She twirled around in the center of the room since it was kind of a 'flowy' dress. She ended up stumbling and almost hit her head on the coffee table!

Those Princess prints were perfect for Bella's room, and the pillow is cool. The room looks like it is ready for a sweet little girl to arrive now!

It was stormy and warm on Saturday, but the temperature fell quite a bit overnight. She would not have been sleeveless outside on Sunday!

I will probably need to get two extra jobs - one for Disney money and one for grandkid money! I hope you found a lot of cute clothes for Caleb. You'll have to give us an updated picture of him, since they change so much when they're that little.

I'm glad you were able to have a lot of family time this weekend. Good luck to your cousins in all of their pursuits. I hope they find jobs where they can work in something they really enjoy doing.

Yep, she's two for two on Disney babies. Brooklynn's room was Disney, too. She has a Tinkerbell room right now.

I LOVE the colors of Bella's room! I love that her boppie matches her bumper pad! Those outfits are great too. Brooklyn looks so cute in her Minnie dress.

I don't remember where Jill said she got the boppie cover. She can tell us. She bought the material and John's mom made the crib accessories with it.

cute, cute outfits!!
the room is wonderful!!
as always, Brooklynn is adorable!

I got those at Babies R Us. They had a lot of cute sundresses, too, but I limited myself.

That would be a great work. It'll be nice to run over to Disney when you go to visit her. And yes, I think there are probably plenty of people in the Orlando area who might need ministering unto! Maybe if she ends up working down there after her college days are over, he might further consider a move.

This is so sweet! Brings tears to my eyes!

I love Bella's room. It's so pretty! Where did the Cinderella pillow come from? I love it!

Brooklynn sure looks cute in her polka-dot Minnie dress!

I don't know if she got that in Disney World or at the Disney Store. I'll tell her to answer when she gets on.

I looked at the Minnie dress and kept passing by, because it was more than I wanted to spend, but it kept calling my name. It was just different from anything else I thought she had.

Sounds like you managed to have a very nice weekend, despite the party cancellation. :goodvibes

It was a nice weekend. We're hoping to have the party in early May. We're praying for a sunny day on that day!

I'm going to try somewhere else for the next cake, or I might just go with cupcakes. I've got some time to research now.

I know the girls won't want to match for forever, but it'll be cute to do it some while they're little. I've gotten a mix of things - some matching, some coordinating, and some not matching at all.

Brooklynn is getting so big.. so tall! Love love the dress! Thanks again for the postcards- I posted but you were getting caught back up into life! Have a great week...

I got your message about the cards, so I knew the U.S. ones were finding their way to the right kids, but I'm worried about the Canada ones. Hopefully, they will get there his week. I didn't put return addresses, of course, since they were from Mickey, so I hope they make it to the recipients within a few more days.

Have a Marvelous Monday, everyone!
I hope the weather starts getting warmer for some of you who are still seeing snow. We're supposed to have frost this morning. We get kind of wacky this time of year while winter and spring continue to battle back and forth. In the end, spring wins out, but sometimes summer comes in and takes over very, very quickly and stays an extra long time!

Bellarie's room is great. I love the colors.

Brooklynn looks adorable in her new dress. The girls will look too cute in their matching outfits.

Wish me luck tomorrow morning, when I try to book my package with Free Dining. ;)

I will be up with all the others at 6:59am dialing the reservation line.

My first choices are ASMusic or POP. Since we've stayed at the other Values. :wizard:

I'm glad I'm not the only girl who loves the Mickey plates. How much are they anyway?

I hope you get your package this morning! I really hope you get to stay at Pop since that is our true home away from home!

Memom...those outfits are too cute as is Isabella's room! Its wierd to see Brooklyn outside in a sleeveless dress and no coat when it is snowing here right now. It won;t be much but still is cold. I forget that other parts of the country are warm. :headache:

Unfortunately my willpower on the clothes is not so great sometimes. Little girl things are so cute and when you have two of them well sometime it just flies out the window. They both have closets full of clothes for spring and summer. Most of it I bought at consignment sales but a few I purchased because they match or coordinate and I just couldn't resist! That is awesome about your cousin trying to make it in pro football. I will try not to be too mean to him if he makes it and ever plays the Titans.

This is so sweet! Brings tears to my eyes!

I love Bella's room. It's so pretty! Where did the Cinderella pillow come from? I love it!

Brooklynn sure looks cute in her polka-dot Minnie dress!

The pillow came from Disney World. Brooklynn has a green one that is Tinkerbell in her room. They also had a purple Jasmine one and a pink Aurora one.

Brooklynn is getting so big.. so tall! Love love the dress! Thanks again for the postcards- I posted but you were getting caught back up into life! Have a great week...

She is getting very tall. I know next week when she comes to the hospital she will look even bigger compared to her sister.

Well I have been typing and eating my apple turnover straight from the Main Street Bakery! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: Thanks MeMom!!!!!!!!! It is very yummy but just not the same without hearing "We're walking right down the middle of Main Street USA." as I eat. Have a great Monday everyone!

Ooooh, the little girl clothes are so cute! :lovestruc I love Isabella's room too, so pretty. I love the pattern. :thumbsup2

Morning MeMom & BrooklynnsMommy!!! It's a great morning!

I GOT FREE DINING AT ALL STAR MUSIC!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Lexi and DMom were the deciding votes, today.

Lexi wanted to stay at the third All Star to complete the trio. She said next time we will stay at POP. There's always going to be a next time. :rotfl::lmao:

My DMom said if we stay at All Stars we can use all 6 different pools instead of the two at POP. ;) We love the pool breaks in the afternoon.

So, It's ASMu for 11 nights w/park hoppers....still debating adding on the water parks and more. :thumbsup2

Memom loved all your pictures of Pop. We are staying there in May and I can't wait! Anna Grace was looking at the pictures and decided she wants the Princess autograph book. She is feeling better and has not complained about her ear since being on the medicine. My oldest boy had to have tubes.
Have Brooklynn's ears stopped hurting?

I love all the outfits you got for the girls. Brooklynn looks sooooo cute in the Minnie dress.

Bellarie's bedroom is cute. I love all the Princess prints. Very nice.

Hope you all have a great Monday

Tammy
