It was so nice, and just like all of our other DIS meets, everyone was so sweet and so normal!
Well, it's a big deal for us, of course, since we do well to even go and stay value, but a lot of people stay deluxe all the time, so I figured they might think that was kind of a lame thing. Trent is very excited about it, though, and he was completely surprised. He truly had no idea!
What a great group you had for the DISmeet! I'll bet you had a great time!

I noticed Brooklynn, too. She was having fun with the game.
Her question was to name the park in her picture, and it was Epcot.
It was a fun surprise, and I still plan to avoid pictures as often as I can.
I love pictures of other people, but I detest pictures of myself.

Everybody got to come except Stasieki. She PMed earlier in the day and said with doing all of her moving, she just couldn't. I completely understand that. If I had been packing and unpacking a house, I'm very sure I wouldn't have made it either.
There was surely a mix of accents in that group!
The first time Trent saw Wilderness Lodge, he said that he wanted to stay there, and I have had that in the back of my mind ever since.
And, yes, I am happy about getting to cross off another Disney hotel!

Having lived in Florida where there was a bunch of northerners, I say you guys more than y'all, but I do occasionally say y'all.
It only lasted about ten minutes, but it was fun.

My favorite part of the video -- Trent telling Jill to "shut it" (such a typical brother) and then being rendered speechless when he read the inside of the card.
We were very glad Dawn could come. She was headed out to eat with Brett, Jordan, and Margot and had also gotten to see Margot for a few minutes earlier in the day, so she was a happy girl!
We got two rooms, so I'm going to let everyone else stay there the first night and I'm going to stay at Pop. I'll join them in the day over there, and enjoy sitting out by the pool with them and pretending I belong. The second night, I'll probably bump Drew and Mitchell back to Pop and I'll spend the night at WL. They won't care. We're keeping one of our three rooms at Pop all the way through the trip just to have plenty of space and for switching up, etc.
I will be taking a ton of pictures, no doubt.

Do you think a boy who tells his mom to shut it should get to stay at Wilderness Lodge? Maybe I'll bump him the second night, and the rest of us will stay!
It was a fun group. I will say that we got a lot of stares as the pictures were being taken. Lots of people stopped to see what was going on at the hippo!
I tried staying up so i can join your new report...but it is my morning to get up with Caleb since I know he will be up at 6:30amso I can;t stay up any longer. I will catch it in the AM. Have a great night!

Maybe you can join us next time. Brooklynn would have enjoyed having a friend. I'm sure there will be more meets at Opry Mills. It's a good place to meet.

That is an AWESOME surprise!! I'm so excited for you! I am so excited to see all the amazing WL pictures, especially the early morning ones.
Even if I don't stay the first night, I'll probably be over there fairly early the next day pretending like it's my home.
That is why I want to actually sleep there the second night, though, so that I can get up for early morning pictures.********************************
It was very fun to meet everyone. I hope we are able to meet all of you at some time in the future, either at Disney World or whenever you are coming through Nashville. Opry Mills is a nice stopping place, so if you need a travel break, it's a good mall in a safe place, and we'd love to come over and meet you there.
Our Pop party was fun. We ate and played with Play-Doh, much to Brooklynn's delight, and then revealed our surprise to Trent. After that, it was time for the girls to get naps before we went to Opry Mills. At the mall, we met, went over to the Disney Store, rode the carousel, and then headed back home. Drew called right as we were leaving Opry Mills. He thought it was funny that we had met up with Disney people. He laughs at us with our Disney stuff, but he understands, because he's the same way with his bike stuff. He can talk to total strangers because there is a shared interest. John and Trent went to play volleyball and then went to eat at Ghengis Grill (I think). Jill worked on pictures while High School Musical played in the background. I tried to straighten up a very scattered house! It was a very nice day, and I am very blessed to have my wonderful family!
