I grew up in New York, but I hate them both.

DW put it best - if you're from Manhattan or the Bronx, you were a Yankee fan. If you're from Queens or Long Island (like me), you were a Mets fan. I know, I hate these west coast swings. I'm excited because they will be nationally televised Saturday, Sunday, and Monday I believe.

It was so weird when I was out in Los Angeles last year for 2 weeks for my internship. I'd get back to the hotel room at about 5 and there would be baseball on sometimes from the east coast.

I'm a National League fan, so I voted "Who Cares?". The designated hitter rule really detracts from the game, IMO.
