A trip to WDW w/NO kids? Hubba Hubba! Wink Wink! UPDATE: EXTRA, EXTRA!!! Pg 158

Just stopping by to say hi! Sorry I haven't been around much!

BTW, I get SO nervous in the Laugh Floor. I would DIE if they put me on the big screen..Especially if I had to make monster noises! :lmao: The show is too cute to miss though, so I just look like I'm into the show, but not TOO into it...but definitely not bored! I try to hide behind Darren as much as possible too! :rolleyes1

Just wanted to say geez, thanks for all the "celebrity" comments and great TR props for Tim and I. We love doing it. Don't worry, no big heads here, but appreciate the comments. THANKS! (geez, I'm blushing:flower3: )
Lesley

:lmao: :lmao: that sounds exactly how I am in the Laugh Floor. I never want to be picked. And watch, now that I've said that over and over again on different threads I'll be picked this year

Me too!

I think I read somewhere that they pick people in the isle seats?:confused3

Well - in all fairness, I've only seen it once and :scared1: didn' like it!

You ladies seem to love it so much though, so I have vowed to try it again in September.:thumbsup2

awww you didn't like it? Must not have had any good audiance interaction in your show. Or maybe the jokes were too lame?

Glad you are giving it another shot. You can come watch it with me and we can hide out together :rotfl:

I'm DEF joining in the hiding! :3dglasses

:lmao: looks like Cheri is the only brave one. I can just see us all sitting in there together now, one of us shy ones getting picked and then Cheri shoving us aside and sitting in our seat so she can be on camera :lmao:

:rotfl2: Why does that not surprise me?

all your comments made me :rotfl2: I will have to quote them later...I'm just popping in to check the Southwest flights (Thanks Kelly and Carla!)

9/13/08 MSY flight 2426 depature - 8:00am, arrival - 10:45am Nonstop "Wanna get away" price - $73

9/20/08 MCO flight 1993 deparure - 4:50pm, arrival - 5:35pm Nonstop "Wanna get away" price - $73

Those are the flights that would maximize our time at WDW. Arriving at 10:45 would be SWEET! And both are direct flights!!!! With taxes and fees, each of our tickets would be $167 for a total of $334. Last year we watched flights for a while and finally pounced on a Delta flight leaving at 10 am nonstop and a returning flight leaving at 5ish which had a layover in Atlanta, and I think we paid about $160 total with our fees. So this isn't bad. The question is, do we buy now or wait? It looks like $73 is the lowest we can get each way on these Southwest flights. (It says "Wanna Get away" ranges from $73-$151)

Delta's only flight on the 13th currently is: leave MSY at 1:45pm, Arrive at MCO 4:45pm (Nonstop) and the 20th has a nonstop 12:20 flight out of Orlando; these are currently priced at $209 round trip (total including the fees) per person. That's the best price on a flight that we can get elsewhere (besides Southwest)

I've never flown Southwest, but they seem to work differently than other airlines as far as pricing goes. So, is it possible to get a cheaper flight than $73? I've heard of people getting round trip direct flights with SW for $99. Is it better to wait? Should we jump on the price they have now? If we buy now (or pretty soon) is it possible to get a refund if they do lower the price? Any advice would be helpful as I don't know much about this.

(updated: forgot to note that the price on the other SW flight times was the same or more, so $73 is the lowest on any flight that day currently)

If you use the code DING15 and purchase by 11:59 Monday, the 21st the price is only $63.00 each way (before fees and taxes) for the exact same flights.

WOW! How do you know that? You are SO NICE to tell me that!! Can anyone use that code?

I don't really know you but  THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

I think you might have to book it through the Ding that you would have to download to your computer which is very easy to do.
But check the Transportation Forum, I know they were discussing it there.

I tried entering the code and it worked. Total price $290.20 for the 2 of us. I haven't booked it but it's still sitting on my screen. I checked with Mike and he said he's okay with me booking this weekend if I decide to do so.

Wow - those flight prices look great!:thumbsup2

I would offer advise, but I have never flown Southwest.:rolleyes1

thanks anyway :goodvibes

That's the only airline I ever fly, you can't beat their prices and their service is great!:thumbsup2

Good to know! You've been VERY helpful :thumbsup2

Wow!! And I thought $73 was a good price. How awesome. I've never flown Southwest before so I can't offer any advice as to when is good to book but it seems like with the code it would be cheaper than last year so I think that's a bonus. I would jump on it :goodvibes
