I called the Reservations line on my way home, and learned that there ARE non-handicapped rooms at the All Star Sports with King beds!

I requested that we be placed in one, so the nice CM added it to my reservation. Then, as usual, he recapped our whole reservation to us. Then he asked the infamous question, "Is there anything else I can do, such as a Cirque de Soleil reservation, or a P&PP?" I said, "Yes, can you knock me into a coma for the next 10 days?! I'm so ready for my trip!" And he chuckled and said "Well I'm sure it will be here before you know it." It was a funny moment.

I'm so ready for my trip!" And he chuckled and said "Well I'm sure it will be here before you know it." It was a funny moment.

you are so silly. That's awesome that you got a King room. I'm still not sure what we're gonna get I don't really care...as long as there's at least one bed and covers in there and it's clean

well I guess Brian decided not to go (or couldn't get off of work). It wouldn't hurt to call WDW Reservations and ask them if Pop has any non-handicapped rooms with King Beds. You never know.
With the one King bed instead of 2 queens there is more space, so since we don't need the 2nd bed and it costs the same I figured why not try to get it. Like I said, we got it last year by chance, and it felt bigger in our room as compared to the one my parents and sister were in.

Almost forgot to say...it's not "guaranteed" but they will accommodate us as long as they have a room with a King bed available.
