Our first day in the parks was a Sunday. We decided to spend the day at MK and had a spectacular day!
We arrived in time for Opening Ceremonies, which was totally cool because we never saw that B4. DH and kids somehow convinced me to ride Splash Mountain - which I wished I hadn't done - but our BBB appts were not until noon, so I had time to dry off.
The only problem with BBB inside the castle is all the people coming in to see what's going on. The entrance was crowded and there were several upset kids (one girl screaming!) because they hadn't heard of BBB before the trip and walk-ins weren't available.
DD and I both had Margarita. Well, DD did completely, but I was too tall (I'm 6'2") and Margarita couldn't get to the top of my head for the hairstyle. She exclaimed "La alta!" and asked for help. (That's Spanish for 'tall girl'.)
We roamed the park a while after the makeover and had dinner at the castle at 5pm. It was such a great day and DD told me she felt very special that day. We had a lot of fun and I hope others have the great experience we did!
Here's a little show we put together to share our day with everyone:
