We are scheduled 10/29 to 11/7.
Plan to do a Halloween party but not Christmas.

I know MK changes over holidays pretty quick, but will rest of parks and hotels be "normal" until 11/7? Would rather not be inundated with Christmas music and decorations.

Any clue when music changes over in the parks? Is it 11/1?

Thanks!

We usually go during that time frame. It seems MK is the only place that immediately transforms to Christmas. The other parks and resorts take another week or 2, usually coinciding with the start of the holiday parties. They gradually put up wreaths, etc. We have not been able to catch the Xmas tree trail in DS or see POP'S holiday decor yet. Jingle Cruise should be available, though.

Other than the Grand Floridian, which started work on their gingerbread house at the end of October, and Beach/Contemporary which started their gingerbread installations 11/6-8 timeframe, you should not see holiday decorations at the resorts during that timeframe. The earliest resorts started decorating (again, outside of the gingerbread displays) this year was 11/14.

EDIT to add: Most holiday festivities outside of MK started on 11/12 this year. I'm not sure about decorations however.

We went during that time frame in 2023 and were disappointed by the amount of Christmas. Merchandise in many shops (most of main street) was Christmas themed by 10/30. While there weren't trees up everywhere you could see them being readied when you took the bus around the property. I expected the energy of the 10/31 MNSSHP to be off the charts, especially since there was an 11/1 party, but it was more subdued. You could tell the Castmembers were done with Halloween and ready for Christmas to start. Most of the Halloween merch was gone by 10/30. The lobby in GF was roped off for building the gingerbread house on 10/30, so it was either 'closed' or Christmas during our trip.

Thanks. We aren't worried about merch as we rarely buy the party stuff. Heck, I'll probably be sick of Halloween by the time we go. 😂 (although if i do some some cute Christmas decorations, I may buy some)

I don't mind seeing some stuff but I just don't want to hear Christmas music everywhere right away. We just got back from a Christmas trip and decided oh heck no, not for us again.

I think sounds like it won't be in full swing before we leave on 11/7 so I think we should be okay! Staying in Epcot area.
