A trip full of surprises.. Good News! 6/16

The rest of Day 6 at MGM!

After The motor show as we are leaving Bryan snaps this picture...

That haze in the air is actually from the wildfires that were in Georgia at the time! We then headed towards the front of the park because Matthew was dying to see the High School Musical Pep Rally. This was so cute, they really try to involve the kids! They get to shoot big blow up basketballs into these HUGE hoops and then they choose kids to come up and learn to dance. It was funny because Eric got chosen to shoot some hoops (which we have no pics. of) ans Matthew got chosen to learn to dance! Here are a few pictures of the Pep Rally.............

We had good seats and the kids had a blast!

Then the boys headed back to Star Tours AGAIN! and I went to FP RNR. Bryan took these pictures inside of Star Tours.........

A repeat of a prior picture but the boys are together in this one! Needless to say Eric got his fill of Star Wars today!

Then we headed to Mama Melroses for our ADR Fantasmic Dinner Package!

We had a great time at dinner, our server was from the town right next to ours so we had a lot to talk about! I was so happy that they changed the menu for the Fantasmic package so we could order whatever we wanted Bryan had the pork marsala which he said was great. I had the wood grilled chicken with peas and roasted red peppers in a basil cream sauce! the boys ate plain pasta. There adventurous aren't they! Some dinner pictures.....

We had such a great meal and the atmosphere was wonderful!

After our wonderful dinner we took these pictures right outside of the Restaurant!

Then we went into the shop right across from MM and the boys picked out pins for there newly purchased lanyards! Eric chose Sorcerer Mickey and Matthew chose a pirates pin!

After our purchases we went back to R-N-R. I didn't want to ride again so Matthew and Bryan rode twice! eric and I went in the villain store in the mean time!

We had a blast exploring in this store! Then we left to meet up with Bryan and Matthew. On the way I found this sign.

We took this because SCOOPS is Eric's nickname because he is so small you can scoop him up! Sorry OT!

After we meet up with Bryan and Matthew we head over to One Man's Dream.

This attraction was so neat. It was great to see all the small scale models...

And Walt's 2nd grade desk!

On the way out the boys snuck over the chains and we took this picture

Then we left! We decided to walk around a little bit before Fantasmic and the boys saw this and wanted their picture taken..........

The boys fell in love with the movie MONSTERS, INC. on this trip and they think Roz is just so funny! They keep asking Bryan to imitate her voice!

Then we were off to Fantasmic! We had never seen this before and were so excited! Here we are waiting........

It was an AWESOME show and I personally think Disney's best! Not the best pictures of the show but here are a few.......

It was the perfect ending to a GREAT DAY! Although as we were walking out I had tears in my eyes knowing that tomorrow would be our last full day! We made it back to POP with no problems and got our trusty mugs refilled with frozen cokes and walked around the resort a little bit!

Thanks DisneyJo Eric wasn't tall enough to ride but Matthew LOVED it!

Eric's grumpy face is exactly the same as my DS5 face Its funny but not funny when you're there living it. Well done to Matthew for overcoming his fear A great day,

Eric makes that face quite often But he really is a good kid Matthew was so proud of himself for going on!

I loved the pictures of Fantasmic. I've only ever seen the Disneyland version--for some reason I just never make it over there in time.

I can't believe it's almost over! One or the other of us needs to have another trip soon so we can continue our trip report friendship. I know--we'll all go together and have one big blowout trip report!

Yes, we had such a great day at MGM in fact it was one of our best because I was so prepared We loved Mama's it was our 1st time there and definitely will be going back! Fantasmic was INCREDIBLE we absolutely loved it! You should definitely check out One Man's Dream it really is neat to see the history of Walt and WDW. My kids really enjoyed it so I'm sure Luke and Lauren will too I'm am sooo sad to post our last day because I'm getting those end of trip blues again

I just read your whole trip report in one sitting! I found your link from Lesley's pre trip report! Your boys are too cute! My oldest ds is going to be 6 when we make our Christmas trip! Can I ask a question - what is up with the frozen cokes at night? Do you keep them till the morning and then have coke for the day? Just wondering!
