A Titus update...

Titus' mom forwarded an email today that Titus sent yesterday to his sister. That is actually funny because he mentions twice in the email "Don't tell mom or dad any of this. Mom will get worried and there is nothing to worry about." , lol. Anyway it seems that their ammo supply point was attacked and all their ammo has been going off for hours. He said that they were "sitting on top of our spam and watching it and feeling the shock waves". The good news is that apparently no one was hurt and Titus is fine.

My goodness, Keli...what a brave guy he is. "Sitting on Spam"....brave and funny!

Thank God no one was hurt. I continue to keep Titus and his *brothers* in my prayers. Thank you for letting us know about his updates.

It just amazing what our military are having to go through. I hope and pray that Titus stays safe. Very sweet of him to worry about his parents so much. Your dd is very lucky to have such a wonderful guy.

I cannot imagine going through all that. Titus and all serving are certainly brave. I pray they all come home safely

I think it is time to bring them home I am so glad that he and the others are okay. I haven;t sent a package since before WDW, so I need to get one out this week.

Ashli mailed a box for Titus yesterday that had a double batch of brownies, a batch of chocolate chip cookies and some vanilla wafers plus a cd she burned for him (mostly love songs, it made me laugh though to see ella fitzgerald and louie armstrong on the same cd as bon jovi), and some maglight lenses.

The way he always requests food you'd never believe that Titus has trouble keeping his weight high enough to stay out of remedial PTs would you? lol. I'll bet he asks to go to O'Charlies his very first day back (his favorite resturant). Sure will be glad to take him there .

Pam, No word yet on when Titus might be coming home. His mom dind't sound freaked out at all when she sent the email. I've never met her (Ashli has spent a lot of time with his parents but Dave and I have yet to meet them) but we've emailed each other many times and she seems like a strong woman, I think Titus is just wanting to protect her because he loves her, not because he's really worried about how she'll take it.

LOL, CC, yep, I didn't even think about the spam but I'm sure Titus hates it now even if he liked it when he headed over there.
