Hello!

I was thinking, that over the summer vacation I would like to read some books. *unusual for me...* So, I was ^also^ thinking that maybe some of you all would have some good summer novels to read. Does not matter which genre...

I have a *TINY TINY TINY* list of 1 book:
-The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin and Nicole Krauss

You should put this on the "Recomend a book" thread. :)

Oh my goodness!!! I didn't know there was a thread like this!! I am so sorry. I'm not thinking straight right now (lol).

Excuse this thread than :)

That sounds like my kinda book!! However, my mom might give me a weird look if I were to go and buy it:scared1:

The Hot Zone - Richard Preston.
It's a nonfiction book, but I like to put it under the genre of, if you have even a slightly squeamish stomach, have problems with the discussion of hemmoraging organs, death, or the medical field in general, you might want to stay away. It's a very good read, though, especially if you're interested in virology. P.S. It's about the Ebola virus, which explains why it isn't pretty.

Revenge of the Sith - Matthew Stover
Sure, it's a movie, but the novelization goes a bit deeper into what's going on and how Anakin feels about it all. If you like action or romance, this is good for you.

Twenty Pageants Later - Caroline B. Cooney
It's about how a 14 year old girl copes with trying to live under the spotlight of her pageant-winning older sister that everyone adores. Sounds boring, but I think most girls can relate to this novel.

Twin Switch - Carol Stanley
It's about a set of identical twin girls who live 2,000 miles apart and meet up at their grandma's house for the summer. They decide to switch places, getting caught up into each other's lives. It's actually pretty funny.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Ronald Dahl.
It's a very light and speedy book to read. That's why I love it.

These are just a few of my personal favorites.

KAYLA!!! I thought nobody on here had heard of that book! (Even if I mentioned I was reading it alot on the Random Thread...)

I thought it was an excellent book. For some reason, I like how it's close to home for some reason... it was fun to read about Bluewater then going there and finding everything mentioned in it.

I read all those Peter Pan prequal books by Ridley Pearson and Dave Barry last week on my way to Florida. They're really good, and all of mine and my Kingdom Keepers are signed by Ridley Pearson. The second Kingdom Keepers is coming out in August? All I knew it was in the summer, but I didn't know it was going to be so late in the summer! Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait.

Idk what kinda books you will read...but I read this one book call
My Side of the Mountain
I loved it!!
Sry cant remember author;)
