Here's a little history before the question.
I am opening a custom picture frame store tomorrow, and on Friday I had a ribbon cutting and reception to celebrate the new store. I had many people come, and several of those people came me flowers
, and one an edible arrangement of chocolate covered strawberries
My mom says I should send them a "thank you" card, and I say that I don't need to because I hugged them and said thank you already to their face.
What do you think?
Do I need to send a thank you card when I already thanked them personally?
Or do I still send a "thank you" card?

. Plus you would just be inadvertently marketing your store that much more. I would think a generic (not personal) thank you note would do the trick. That way it won't take up too much time with the opening of your store. Congratulations on your store!!
