A Thank You is in Order--"AGAIN" on 1-31-04

I just have to share this with all of you. A fellow DIS'er who shall remain nameless as not to embarrass him has recently sent me 80 .23 cent postcard stamps to send out the postcards to children with upcoming cruises.

So, if you know of any children who would enjoy a DCL postcard make sure to send in your request. Over 50 postcards have been mailed out thus far, and we are hearing some interesting stories from parents whose children have receivced a postcard.

I hereby offer a great big "THANK YOU" to our fellow DIS'er for the stamps, you know who you are, and you are very special!!!

DIS'ers are the greatest!!! I used the last stamp this morning that was sent to me by a fellow DIS'er to help send out postcards to children that would be cruising soon on DCL. This afternoon, without saying a word that all the stamps had been used, in the mail I received a roll of 100 .23 cent postcard stamps from that same DIS'er. Although I won't reveal his DIS user name, as not to embarrass him, I will say "Thanks Steve, You're the Greatest!!!" the kids are really enjoying receiving their postcards. So, if anyone out there needs a DCL postcard for your children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews, send in your request on the postcard thread.

P.S. Steve, Thanks for the other special delivery of goodies!!!

Just wanted to send out some special thanks to Sarah, Vickie, Peter & Jennifer, these fine DIS'ers have also supplied postage stamps this past week for the postcards that are being mailed out. I also want to send a special thanks to a dear man at DCL who just this week sent me a box full (about 500) of DCL Postcards. Anyone wishing to help out and would like to play or let me know, and I can send some postcards your way.

I would also like to thank some fellow DIS'ers who are already sending out postcards to the children, it sure is fun isn't it???

Andy - you are a very special gentleman - you never forget anyone especially the children - I spoke to Jen and Peter when they stopped at the shop yesterday and your ears must have been burning. Also tony and barb - hummmm a few others also - ALL GOOD WORDS -

We will be leaving for Florida on April 3rd and returing home April 10th. We will be staying in Titusville, FL the home of the famous Dixie Crossroads our motel is only going to be 10 miles away from Dixie Crossroads, this could be a mistake on my part, LOL!!!

What a great program you have started Andy! And a big thanks to Steve and everyone else who has contributed to it including the DCL man who sent the postcards!

I know Michael was THRILLED to get something from Mickey and Minnie - and he KNOWS that they are just people in costumes! But the "Magic" still lingers!
