Don't you love those, "But we don't really think teachers should enjoy themselves too much" disruptions??? That's just a dumb way to do it! Next year we are getting a full week at Thanksgiving which I am really excited about!!!
DON'T LET JILL KEEP US IN SUSPENSE TOO LONG!!!
You know, the really bad thing is that when they put the calendar out last year, they had us out for the whole week. Then they came up at the first of this year and it had changed to teacher in-service. Needless to say, there are a lot of teachers that are not happy, and a lot will just call in sick that day.
Next year, we are scheduled to have a three day Thanksgiving and a five day October break. We have never had an October break, so this is all new. We'll wait and see, though, if they add a nice little
(in)convenient in-service to that one, too.

Yes MeMom, we arrive on the 30th. I'm not sure we'll be able to make it to the parks before noon. It's all going to depend on the weather, the airports (when we booked I forgot it was your thanksgiving weekend! Oops!), ME, check-in, changing clothes if our room is ready, and getting the bus to the park, the line to get in, the security line to get in....you know, all that fun stuff! You guys are gonna be at Magic Kingdom if I remember reading correctly, is that right? That's always where we head first!
Brooklynn went with them. Jill said she was more interested in dusting the furniture in the doctor's office than she was in looking at anything baby related.
I'll PM you our cell numbers, and if you get there early, just give us a call. We often eat at a resort before we leave the premises. So if it is convenient, we might just eat there. If it doesn't work out perfectly for both of us, no big deal. I'd hate for us to be just about walking past each other and not even know it. You probably won't be there by the time we leave, but if you get there in the mid-morning and you have a minute, we'll try to meet up before we leave.

Brooklynn is a big Mama's girl, so she will have to learn to share Jill's time. She's not known for being the most patient toddler in the world, so it will be a bit of an adjustment, but I'm sure they'll get through it and she'll grow up to be a well-adjusted little girl.
So happy for you all. It is so wonderful having girls... that sister bound is so fun to watch. Mine have a great time playing together now that they are bigger too!
More girls means more girl trips!

She let Brooklynn choose the name. She asked her if she liked Ava or Isabella, and Brooklynn said Bella every time. I think she likes Isabella because it has Bell(e) in it and it sounds like Cinderella!
