A table for Illuminations???

When we were at Epcot last fall, we watched Illuminations from the bridge between UK and I think France (?). Down in front of the bridge, a little off to the side were several tables, and the area was roped off. Close to time for Illuminations to start, they started letting people go down there. How do you get one of those tables? I'm guessing the people didn't just walk up, they had to be resered some way.

Anyone know? Thought it might be an idea for this year's trip.

That's something that you purchase -- a special reserved area, with or without drinks, dessert, etc. Usually purchased by companies having a convention or large groups like family reunions or weddings. It's not something they do every night, and it's pretty pricey!

We held a Illuminations dessert party this past december....It is very easy to do and they can accomodate anywhere from 20ppl on up. The price runs from $22pp (plus tax, gratuity, hostess fees, table set up fees, etc.) on up. The per person price typically just includes the food you chose...every thing on top of that is additional....but it is a lot of fun...

Can't wait to do it again....
