For Hermit Crab #2.
Back in March, DD received two Hermit Crabs as a birthday present from a friend. I wasn't crazy about the idea but DD was thrilled. Well, DS was jealous so we had to purchase a third crab. It has only been two months and two of the crabs have died. We did lots of research on the care and keeping of these little guys and don't know what went wrong. Anyway, I think the main reason they died is because they are not meant to be pets. Poor little guys. I will never purchase another one and will not encourage anyone else to. They need to be kept in their natural habitat and not captured and shipped to pet stores.
