A Summer Wedding and a Disney Trip CANCELLED, HELP DECIDE WHEN WE'LL GO IN 2011

Where would I buy the MNSSHP tickets once they become available? Right off the website. How do you know when they're available? Thanks I wanna know where I should keep checking.

Back when they were still having the Pirate and Princess Party, I bought them directly from Disney on the www.disneyworld.com website. I kept checking their site until I saw them available for purchase.

We stayed at POR this summer and LOVED it! We had a regular room and our view was great-- of the woods. So I'd say if you want to save money, forego the water view room. We were in Alligator Bayou building 15-- if you go the POR route, seriously request this building. I know from your last TR that you guys like to eat at your resort food court. This building was seriously a 30 second walk from the main building/food court/main bus stop.
The bus service was awesome at POR, too. We just loved it. DBF never wants to stay anywhere else!

I know, I thought about you after I posted that. But don't worry, I don't think we'll be switching. It's not a definite, but I think we're staying where we are. But unfortunately I believe Anthony is still out.

Thanks, building 15 does sound great. I was looking at the map. And that's great that you were that close to the food court. That's what i'm looking for. Foregoing the water view saves us another $250, so that would be great.

that is really sad about Anthony...I don't know...I think I would have to make that kind of change closer to the trip like the end of July...its easy to get into the mod but not as easy to get the family suite...I believe you have up to 72 hrs to make major changes...I'm not sure about the tickets to the Halloween party but I do know you can purchase them online(under special events--ticket section). But, I bet you can add them to your ressie by phone seems like my dad had his added to his ressie the year they went for Christmas (he booked through WDW phone ressie system)...

Ok.......... So, Manny was talking to Anthony the other night (not about Disney) and Anthony told him that he'll go with us. Manny told him that he doesn't have to come just because we'll feel bad. He told him to think about it this week and let us now his final answer when he comes over this weekend. I'm really not sure what he's going to pick. I really don't want him to come and miss 8 days of school for a trip that he'd rather not take. When I come back to work to a scary pile of stuff to do, it will all be worth it for the trip. But if he's not into going on this trip, he'll probably be even more stressed out and bummed when he goes back to school. Damn kid!!!!

I guess we'll see this weekend! He already knows if he says no, it's a NO. But he's also going to know that if he says yes, I'm buying tickets and it's a YES, he can't back out.

Anyway, I figured i'd come on and post some pictures from Easter!!

Oh, first some of my Mom's puppy. We took her for a walk the other day!

Maggie met a friend while walking. Maggie is only 4 months old, this dog was a year old. Maggie was afraid of her.

Ok, so onto Easter Sunday! After we opened our baskets from Easter bunny and hunted for eggs the girls wanted to blow bubbles.

Don't even ask me about Anthony's hair. Cause I have no idea. It is mandatory that it gets cut before our wedding, so that's all I care about.

Then Anthony had to go home after we had our brunch, his mother's family was going out to eat for 3.
We all went to Manny's aunt's house and then to my brother's with my Mom. they had an easter egg hunt set up, his yard is huge, so it was fun.

Maggie ran all around the yard after the girls. She was so tired.

I hope everyone's had gorgeous weather. We've been in the upper 70s since Easter weekend. Today it's going to be 85 I've been raking and shoveling leaves into all of the leaf bags. There are 13 bags on the side walk right now. Well, my back hurts, my thighs and calfs hurt, my arms and even my fingers hurt (I guess from holding the rake for so long) I have a huge blister on my hand from the rake that I really want to pop, I also have a blister on my foot from my flip flop. I'm a mess.

Yesterday I figured i'd buy some sand box sand (4 bags later and even more back issues, we were ready)

Sam was so excited to play in the sand box. And when we picked Emily and Lizzie up from school they were super excited as well. I was surprised that Emily played in it all night. We had a bonfire last night, I cooked supper and we ate outside! It was wonderful.

And just another cute pic. She was drawing ME!

Well, have a nice day! I need to go get my self in the shower. Maybe a HOT shower will make me feel a little better

OH, YEAH AND I WANT TO BE IN DISNEY WORLD !!!!

Wow..you've been a hard working woman!! I hate yard work...good for you for getting out there and getting it done!

Sorry about the Anthony issues...frustrating. I know what you mean about not wanting him to go out of guilt, though. That would just make for a bad trip...he doesn't want to be there, feels like he was pushed to go, etc.....not a good way to take a vacation!

I hope the nice hot water is making your muscles feel better!

Your girls look so lovely in their Easter dresses. Don't worry about Anthony's hair.....my 12 year old son looked just like it. It's the thing right now. However, he did finally break down and cut it when he got tired of it taking so long to dry it.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Anthony decides to go with you guys. I really think he'll regret it if he bypasses the trip.

Lovely pictures! Your mom's puppy sure is adorable-- and the girls look so sweet in their Easter dresses! I think this was the nicest Easter (weather wise) I've ever had!
Try not to get too stressed over Anthony-- a) the hair! DBF has a much younger brother (he's 13) who absolutely refuses to get his hair cut. He says he's going to for the Ashton Kutcher long hair look I think he looks ridiculous and he is constantly pushing his hair out of his eyes to see. However-- it is hair! Chop it, dye it, whatever. Always grows back if that's what he really wants after the wedding!
b) the trip. I definitely understand how unsettling this must be for you. I think you guys just need to let him know that while you'd like for him to go, you only want him to come along if he truly wants to. At that age, making up so much schoolwork would be hard. I'm glad you've made a point of saying that whatever his decision is, it needs to be final. No wavering. Let us know how it goes!

Would making everyone talk about the trip on the way home make everyone sad? I have to say I understand the drive home I sure will feel much longer than down.

for another free dining pin...I sure wish we would get one. Perhaps there is one waiting for me at home as I write this since we are out of town this week.

MNSSHP: I am going to get my shortly after they released--I watched the tickets to see if the dates we would be going sold out and did not appear either did--though they mentioned close to being sold out. You can buy them directly through the Disney site.

POR: We are looking forward to staying there--I think it will be really nice. I do not blame you for wanting to save the money. We do not have a water view room--I figured it would not matter what the view was since we were not that concerned with it. We did put a request in to be close to transportation, so that means Building 15 or another one, I forget which because of medical issues. If Anthony goes, than you will not be able to do POR correct? You would stay at ASSports?
