well, it finally happened. when my son took off his lanyard on Dinosaur in AK and put it in the pouch in front of him, of COURSE he forgot it getting off-
well, he realized it as we were walking out the giftshop door. we tried to get back down to the disembarking spot to get it, and we got yelled at to get back up and report it at a register. After several long minutes of my son crying and us trying to get someone to check the vehicle that we left it in, you can guess what happened. It was gone. We were so livid that they wouldn't check for us immediately, because it allowed the time for it to be taken. But the Disney manager on duty came throug big time, and diffused what was a bad situation. She told my son to go to the store at the entrance to AK, and pick out a new Lanyard and as many pins as he lost! Didn't matter which pins he picked out, LE or not! So alls well that ends well, and as he is his mommy's boy, he replaced all his traders with LE's! (I swear I didn't influence his decision at ALL!)

I am so happy everything turned out well. That just goes to show you that those Disney cast members are awesome people. Some of them go beyond the call of duty to make sure you have a great time at Disney. Walt is looking down smiling right now.
