Unless someone can get us into Club 33 ;) , I just don't know where to go. My parents are coming with us so we will have a little help and they have graciously offered to take care of DS so we can go out. My DH and I haven't had a nice dinner and some adult time together since I was pregnant! We really need this.

It will have to be around 5/6 ish since I still want to put DS down for the night. And I would really like that adult atmosphere. Any suggestions? (Other than going off site... DH already suggested a romantic night at Medival Times :rotfl: )

The Napa Rose at the GCH.....its supposed to be super romantic. My dh and I are going there for our anniversary dinner. Its our first time sans kids in about 5 years......:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: The CM suggested it when we made our hotel ressies, she said it was fantastic.

Do you have to make reservations?

I think they are recomended...all you have to do is call the priority seating number. I dont have that number, but I think you can get it at Disneyland.com.

Oh yeah, Napa Rose is THEE place you want to go for a one of a kind dining experience. You will not regret it. :thumbsup2

Another vote for Napa Rose! DH and I went there for our anniversary in 2005. Our kids hit the parks while we had a wonderful dinner! :cloud9:

Napa Rose or the upstairs dining room at Ralph Brennans Jazz Kitchen depending on your budget. Both are great (RB's ever so slightly less pricey).

I have never tried it myself, but I believe that Catal in Downtown Disney has an adult atmosphere. I am not sure how pricey it is though.

I've been there a few times, it's where I typically go whilst down. It's not terribly expensive, considering how much everything else costs in Downtown Disney.

Another vote for Napa Rose, but be aware if you have a bottle of wine or a few cocktails, it will cost about $150-$200 with tip. If you are wanting to keep it under $100, Catal or Ralph Brennans are excellent choices. NR is by far the most romantic and we have never had a meal less than excellent. Good luck, whatever you decide:)

P.S. Oh, and yes, a ressie is required. Especially for NR:thumbsup2

We dined at the Napa Rose last Tuesday night. Be aware that there will be kids there, and plenty of them! There were at least a dozen when we dined at 8:30 pm. I noticed one very vocal little angel in patricular while we were waiting to be seated and then asked to be seated in a quiet area. We were seated in a small room off the restaurant next to a fireplace. Let them know of your intentions for a romantic dinner. They really aim to please at Napa Rose, the service is outstanding.

We enjoyed delicious food and a wonderful atmposhere. Cost for two was close to 200.00.(With only one glass of wine each)

Another vote for Catal. The one and only time dh and I were able to have a dinner without the kids we chose Catal and it was a really great dining experience and very grown-up, not a child in sight!

Whatever you decide, have a wonderful time!

Thanks for the tip... that was our concern with Napa Rose... I will let them know what will prolly be the first dinner alone in 15 months!

(Money isn't an object since I wanted something akin to V&A, but failed to mention it)

I know it's not an ALL adult restaurant. But I kinda remember blue bayou as a quiet place. its been many years since I've been so i'm not 100% sure.

Have always sat downstairs; we time dinner so that we're there about 1/2 hour before the jazz starts. I have never seen any kids in there at dinner time. :thumbsup2

just made my ressie at Napa Rose:cool1: :thumbsup2
last seating @9:45 that way we can still be at the park for closing then rush over and possibly freshen up before we go in!

You will love Napa Rose. We ended up eating here twice on our visit last month. Ask for Isaac to be your waiter. He was fantastic! Enjoy!
