A sneak peak into the Grand Villa at AKV

We just got back from our first trip home! While on our trip we kept on bumping into this guy, David, who was in charge of Mousekeeping on the Zebra trail. We would always see him in the hallway outside our room (5583). He is from Boston, as are we. So of course I chat him up. So one day when we were walking to the elevator, he says, "Hey guys, we're cleaning the Grand Villa, you want a tour?" And I reply "Don't threaten me with a good time!". So away we go, to tour the GV! DH took video and I took some shots with the still cam. He also took us through a 1-bedroom, because we were only in a studio. What a great guy he was!

I just wanted to add that I was so impressed with our stay. We are new members and we are very happy with our purchase to say the least! I plan on writing a full trip and dining report when I can find the time!

now that is strange - generally I can't see them - photobucket and the other one people use are blocked here at work. but can definitely see these.

Cool CM!! We had an experience like that back in June. I had just purchased AKL in May and decided that even though we were at BWV it was worth the time to go and see AKL. We spoke w/ a CM at the front desk and asked if we could see any available DVC room. She showed up a 1 bedroom w/ an amazing Savannah view! she was great!

Thanks for the pictures - it looks absolutely fantastic. Am I right in thinking, though, that you can't really see the animals from the balconies because of the trees?

If that's the villa that overlooks the pool, there's a view of the pool to the right and a savanah view to the left.
